I live by this...but don't take it to mean "let them stab you in the back again." :)

I agree, one can forgive but never forget!!

Wise words.  I like it!

yup, me too...{#basic-smile.gif}

Good quote. Doesnt mean we allow the same ones to do it over again and again. We can forgive from a distance. lol

For me, once bitten...twice shy!!

Very wise words indeed.  Forgive but never ever forget.

It is certainly a lot easier to forgive than to forget.

It sure is, but forgiving is good, mind you I guess it depends a lot on how deep the knife went. {#basic-tongue-out.gif}

Sometimes its hard to bite my tongue and not lash out, but yes....I believe in this 100%.

It's easier said than done in many cases.

I heal faster than most, but I still have a good memory.

That's a good thing!!

Just "Stayin alive" ...oooo, that would make a great song title. {#basic-wink.gif}

it is a song title....lol.

pfft, I know... hence the {#basic-wink.gif}

Sorry to read this , Maria.

oh dont be Hershey, this one is not about me, this is a subtle hint for someone else....{#basic-wink.gif}

OK. I misunderstood,Maria.

I noticed on Tv the other day that Steve Irwin's kids now have a new show. Have you watched it & is it worth tuning in?

I havent yet, I dont have much time to watch tv these days but I loved Steve Irwin and cried for days when he died.  If his kids continue his legacy of taking care of animals and fighting animal cruelty and abuse, it's always worth tuning in.  There is still way too much ignorance in this world about animals being sentient beings with feelings, they feel pain and fear and hunger and everything we humans do. Until this is understood and acknowledged by every human being on this planet, animal cruelty will not end.  I will check it out, is it on Netflix?
