It has been cold outside. I decided to watch some old movies. Just watched, Sands of Iwo Jima and the Searchers. i love watching John Wayne.
Tomorrow, I may try watching some Humphy Bogart movies... or the Wizard of Oz. I like Spencer Tracy too. So many oldies but goodies.

I saw that! With Priscilla Lane! A hilarious movie! Eddie and I are going to finish watching “A Ticklish Affair” starring Gig Young and Shirley Jones. I believe Caroline Jones also appears, do you remember her? She later became Morticia in the Addams family series |

I just watched the Glenn Miller Story with Jimmy Stewart, June Allyson and Harry Morgan, last night I watched a classic The Longest Day with John Wayne, Henry Fonda and Robert Mitchum, gotta love the classics. |

I love Robert Mitchum. What was the movie that he played a preacher and was after a little boy and girl as the girl had money hidden in a doll? I liked that one too.He would sing that Lonesome Valley Song. The Longest Day was a good one. I like John Wayne, in anything he played it. As for the Glenn Miller story, I havent seen that one.

Jimmy was perfect as Glenn Miller, And yeah Robert Mitchum was great in everything, maybe the movie you're thinking of is Night of The Hunter, he went to prison and met a guy who told him about some stolen money.. anyway, Yeah, great movie. |
