I love to play games. I like scrabble, word puzzles, Yahtzee, bingo, etc. I don't like to download a lot of stuff and some of these games, you don't have to.

I play yahtzee the most. Do  any of you have any special place to go to play games and if so what are the names.?

I love Uno, when you reach 10,00 you win. You Play with dice. I also like Checkers, Monopoly if you have the time. That is about it. Bro. Doc

I saw one on a tv show that I had long forgotten about. Slap Jacks, I cant remember for sure how it is played. I think you keep turning cards over and when someone throws a jack down, you slap the deck and who slaps first wins the pile.

I heard of the game but don't know how it is played. Either. Bro. Doc

It was fast paced and had to stay focused. lol

There are two outside games I still play, horseshoes and poosh ball.  But haven't done the last in a while since I do not live close to one. Bro. Doc

I dont know what poosh ball is. Have heard of it though.

Let me see if I can explain it where you will get. First we have a long lanes like they do for boweling except these are only 4 lanes, with dividers between the lanes. Then  they use pucks  to shoot down the lane. Some people use a pool stick to shot the puck and some slide it down like they  do for pool. Others toss them down the lane like boweling. Object is too reach 100. Point as on the lane and where the ball stops on boths ends is what points you get. Whom gets too 100 wins the game. I think I have it correct in how it is played. If I don't someone will correct me. Bro. Doc

It does sound like fun and thanks for taking the time to explain.

My pleasure. It was designed for older men to play, but now anyone places. Bro. Doc

At first I thought it was shuffle board. lol

It is played almost like shuffle board, but there is a little difference. Bro. Doc

 I would enjoy the game.

I bet you would Sis. Wendi. Bro. Doc

I used to play games. Kids got bigg and games got destroyed. I taught my baby boy math with Spades and he had to keep score. Then he got better than me. Then we played cribbage.

I  used to love to have game nights. So much fun.

Are used to play crazy eight with my sister, rummy, Yatzy, and chess. I also used to like playing a board game or game? Call trouble

It has been a long time but I used to play chess too. AND Backgammon.

Stupid dictation program

I dont criticise for mistakes. I make more than my share. lol

This thing! My fault for not reading what I dictate before I click on the comment button

I dont have a mouse, I have a built in button for strolling and it jumps all over the place.

I love to play Yahtzee, domino's, and Canasta.  It's been so long since I've played Canasta, that I've forgotten how to play it, lol!

Ellie, you brougt back memories. I used to play Canasta so much when we were in our teens. I think that was my favorite.

words with frieds 2.its online scrabble

Thanks Honky.

Has anyone heard of the game"Euchre"?

I play words with friends 2 and also Scrabble with Club Pogo until recently when they changed their log in format.  I kept getting errors and have not been able to log on and it's because they are only available to people in the US and Canada apparently. So I would like to know how I was able to play scrabble on that site for years and I also paid a yearly subscription so I didnt have to bother with ads. So I cancelled and happy to just have the few games I play on words with friends.

I play scrabble the most.

That is a good question? Dont know how that happened.

I just got finished playing Yahtzee. I won against the computer, his name is Bill. lol

Whoops, sorry wendi, I don't play any games, I'm what you might call BoRiNg and as thick as a plank.

Games arent for everyone. My hubby never plays anything. I just seem to of always played them whenever I can find a partner if not, I do play some of them against the computer.

Sorry wendidawn I'm either dumb or lazy - possibly both. Days seem too short and sleep nights seem far too long.

I can't recall playing any games on my PC, possibly because in the prime of my life I was very much an outdoor person, fully involved in many major outdoor sports that are  nationally played here in NZ.

My final effort was outdoor lawn bowls for 26 years and I didn't give up till I was 76.

WOW!!! This is quite impressive .

"Apples to Apples" is great! Such a fun way to hang out with other people. A little bit about Apples to Apples from BoardGameGeek:

"The party game Apples to Apples consists of two decks of cards: Things and Descriptions. Each round, the active player draws a Description card (which features an adjective like "Hairy" or "Smarmy") from the deck, then the other players each secretly choose the Thing card in hand that best matches that description and plays it face-down on the table. The active player then reveals these cards and chooses the Thing card that, in his opinion, best matches the Description card, which he awards to whoever played that Thing card. This player becomes the new active player for the next round."

This sounds like fun. I am going to look for it at the store and thanks so much for your idea.

I've always been an outdoor games player for some unknown reason. The outdoor games even followed me into retirement, especiall golf and lawn bowls,  which I was very active in, till I couldn't manage any more.

Thinking back I did play indoor games at times. Card games - mainly poker,  500, and crib. Billiards and pool could also be classed as indoor games - maybe lol.

May you enjoy many more years with your favourite indoor games wendidawn.

Thank you At. I used to like to play Trivia Pursuit too.
