THE DOCTRINAL STATEMENT THE CHURCH OF THE CHURCH AT PHILADELPHIA IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION

THE DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OF THE CHURCH OF PHILADELPHIA WORLDWIDE AND THE CYBER BIBLE GOSPEL NETWORK

1. We believe in the salvation of GOD as by GOD’s grace alone an eternal, complete, and is received as the gift of GOD personally by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and Jesus’ perfect, unblemished, flawless, life and thus was able to substitute himself in Spirit and by bodily form for all men's, mankind's sins through the cross (Ephesians 2:8.9; Titus 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21) along with by GOD’s grace alone Christ died for the whole world’s sins past, present, and future (1 John 2:1-2, John 3:16, Hebrews 6) but few are chosen based on faith after the conviction of The Holy Spirit of all sinners ( Matthew 20:16, Matthew 22:14, John 3:16-18, John 16:8-10).

2. We believe the Bible when asking GOD's will in Jesus' name, or when a person unsaved is reading The Bible in salvation terms, or whenever GOD desires is incapable of making mistakes or being wrong, the ultimate authority, flawless, inerrant, perfect, holy, GOD breathed in all parts of which are the sixty-six books, The Tenach (Old Testament) and New Testament whole without error (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21) by way of The Holy Spirit (John 14-16).

3. We believe in the one true GOD which is unity of THE GODHEAD, the always, eternal existence of three co-eternal, co-equal persons: THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT (Luke 3:22, Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

4. We believe Jesus becomes Lord and Savior at regeneration, when a sinner asks for the forgiveness of sins past, present, and future; the preexistence and deity of Jesus (John John 1:14; Matthew 1:18-23), the sinless life of Jesus (Hebrews 4:15), Jesus is the substitutionary, propitiation and atonement of the world’s sins received or not(1 John 2:1-2; John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:21), Jesus’ bodily resurrection (Luke 24:36-43), Jesus assension into Heaven and present ministry (Hebrews 4:14-16), and the second coming of Jesus (Acts 1:11).

5. We believe The Holy Spirit is a person (John 16:1-15, The Comforter and Convicter of Truth (John 14:17,26), GOD (Acts 5:3-4), His work each believer which includes baptism and indwelling at the moment of regeneration (1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 8:9) and filling (Ephesians 5:18) empowering a Christian for life and service in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:16, Acts 1:8; Galations 5:22-23).

6. We believe man was a direct creation in the image of GOD (Genesis 1:26-28), caused his spiritual death by sinning against GOD, not doing GOD’s will (Genesis 3:1-24; Romans 5:12) and there it is necessary for man to receive a new birth for his salvation (John 3:3-5).

7. We believe the salvation by GOD is complete and eternal by GOD and GOD alone, received as the gift of GOD through personal faith in The Lord Jesus Christ and His propitiation and atonement of the world’s sins through the cross(1 John 2:1-2; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8,9: Titus 3:5-7; 1 Peter 1:16-19)

8. We believe whether direct evangelism and discipleship development or social gospel with evangelism and discipleship as the bottomline. The foundation of social evangelism is Jesus, Who is Lord and God (Deity), The Good News, The Gospel, The Power Of The Cross is THE PILOT AND NOT COPILOT OF SOCIAL GOSPEL AND DIRECT GOSPEL OUTREACH (1 Corinthians 3:5-7).

9. We believe in the one true Church, the bride which is the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:25-32) composed of all true believers of the present age (1 Corinthians 12:12-13).

10. We believe the local church consists of living stones, believers coming together in such places as local websites, local place, homes, buildings for edification of believers, worldwide gospel witness by fellowship and work in thanksgiving for what GOD dying on the cross for our sins and not for works salvation (Philippians 4:18; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 3:15).

11. We believe that if the believer does not have peace and holiness, unsaved people cannot see GOD (Hebrews 12:14) so discipleship development is essential following the pattern of Ezra 7:10 but by The Holy Spirit and The Bible (2 Timothy 3:16; Ephesians 3:16, Acts 1:8; Galations 5:22-23).

12. We believe a Christian’s life while on Earth (Philippians 1:5-7) goal is a life of righteousness, good works, and separation, called out unto God from the evil ways of the world (Romans 12:1-2), manifested by speaking the truth (James 5:12), to maintain the sanctity of the home (Ephesians 5:22-6:4), settling differences between Christians according to The Word of GOD (1 Corinthians 6:1-8), not showing a carnal strife but showing a Christ like behavior towards all men (Romans 12:17-21), witnessing the fruit of The Spirit including rights and privileges of a believer, when sick, calling for ministers of healing in the church to pray and to anoint with oil in Jesus’ name, The name of The Lord (James 5:13-18).

13. We believe the local church has the right to implement traditions and ordinances (1 Corinthians 11:2). Therefore we believe emersion and The Lord’s Supper of a believer in Jesus are proper traditions and ordinances in the local church. However, we also believe emersion and The Lord's Supper are commandments.

14. We believe Satan is a created spirit being (Ezekiel 28:13-15 and possesses personality, the great enemy of GOD and GOD’s people (Revelation 19:11-20:6). We further believe that Satan has a final, eternal doom (Revelation 20:10).

15. We believe in the Pre-tribulation Rapture (1 Thessalonians 1:10,4:16; Revelations 3:10) and The Second Coming of Jesus Christ who reign for a thousand years called The Millennial Kingdom on earth (Revelation 19:11-20:6).

16. We believe in the conscious existence of the dead (Philippians 1:21-23); Luke 16:19-31), the resurrection of the body (John 5:28-28-29), the judgment and reward of believers (Romans 14:10-12; 2 Corinthians 5:10), the judgment and condemnation of nonbelievers (John 3:16-18; Luke 16; Romans 14:10-12; 2 Corinthians 5:10), the eternal life of believers (John 3:16; 1 John 5:13), and the eternal punishment of the lost (Matthew 25: 46; Revelation 20:15).THE DOCTRINAL STATEMENT THECHURCH OF THE CHURCH ATPHILADELPHIA IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION
