No one gets out alive

I posted about going to a concert last night and Amala said she doesn't go to things like that anymore because you never know when some loonie might want to just take aim and start firing rounds into a crowd. If that's the case then why go anywhere? Didn't the shooting in Buffalo happen at a grocery store where we all have to go at some point in time? The D.C. snipers targeted people going about their daily routine, getting off of school buses, pumping gas, etc.

You can't always avoid bad things that are going to happen to you. No point living in fear and locking yourself away though. I still go out and do things. Is it in the back of my mind that someone might go apeshit and start firing away at whatever business I'm at? Sure. Sometimes. Not all the time. Sometimes you just have to go about your day and whatever happens is gonna happen. Someone could just as easily break into your home and kill your entire family. Does that mean to stay out of your home? Build yourself an underground bunker? I wouldn't think so. Building a bunker seems kind of time consuming and expensive.

So I say go out and enjoy what you enjoy doing. None of us are getting out of this life alive anyway.

Make the most of each day you never know what the future holds.

True.  Though I'd rather spend my time building a bunker than attending an ear-splitting concert without silicone earplugs.

Indeed, even though I avoid crowded venues because of the last 2 years and the fact that I hate crowds anyway....I still go to the grocery store and other places and hardly even think of the gun situation because THAT could happen anyway, and has.  Even in a parking lot.
