Are American law makers "spending" money on war, or are they sending money oversees for their bank accounts?
Since Joe Biden was appointed as the guy occupying the chair reserved for the POTUS, the USA the policies that the Government of the USA seem to be an attempt to destroy the Nation i.e., they do not seem aimed at merely bankrupting the USA, but to destroy the U.S. Military, to destroy reason by promoting irrational policy after policy as rational and characterizing that which accords with objective reality as bigoted hatred. On Immigration, Energy, Education, LGBQT, Covid-19, war in Ukraine and foreign and domestic policies (explicitly demonstrating the Government of the USA is opposed to the Bill-of-Rights - particularly - free-speech), are inimical to the Nation's interests and openly contemptuous to the United States Constitution... As one views these policies - and activities - it seems that the Law-makers - of both Parties - have given up on the Nation...? Is it possible that their zeal to send money over to Ukraineisbecause the authorizing legislation may deposit the lion-share of those monies into personal accounts, because leaders of both Parties view the USA as over? Send 40, 50, 60, 70 ... billions or as much as can be sent before the inevitable collapse - brought about by Government policies. The money ostensibly sent to Ukraine is converted to gold and silver - because the future of the American dollar is equivalence value with the confederate script.
I'm not arguing that this is what is happening, but when Mitch McConnell and other Republican leaders strangely seem to care so much for Ukraine and so little for the USA (it seems they are trying to out-Democrat the Demonic-Rats vis-à-vis Ukraine), it is mystifying? McConnell can't wait to get that latest 40 billion to Zelensky; it's almost like these law-makers are sending the money to their selves?

Hello, Scott! My guess is that when a parasite intuits its host is nearing its end, it begins to look for a new host; if the parasites possess the wherewithal to expedite the end/death and are able to grab as many resources as they may - before the end - then such analogously describes what was meant by : "have goven up on the nation". It is my view that only a handful of Republican politicians have any love of their country; most are parasites just like the Democrats ... Why - again - the rush and frenetic pace to get billions to Ukraine? Maybe because very little of those billions will go to Ukraine; the lion-share goes to politicians on both sides of the ailes ... Ukraine is among the top 7 most corrupt nations in the world and we know our lawmakers from both sides have been up to their eyeballs over there meddling in it. |

My view on Ukraine and money, is that Ukraine is a pretense; lawmakers - and the Press have sold Americans on the dire needs of Ukraine (who really knows what is going on...?) and it provides those lawmakers an opportunity to send billions overseas to what very likely is those lawmakers off-shore accounts. Again, my point is that these lawmakers seem to have abandoned any pretense of caring about the survival of the USA; it is if they are tacitly cheering - aiding and abetting - Biden's destruction... I'm so far beyond caring whether or not politicians abandoned pretense. I never believed they cared to begin with. It goes without saying for me. |

My response to you is just as I wrote to Scott; I agree that both Parties have - for several generations - had interests contrary to those which promote the USA, but it seems they have now approached the point where feigning love of country - and concern for what matters to their constituents - seems no longer their concern; as if the USA is already history ...? Such demeanor - upon the part of Republicans - has increasing been theirs since the 2020 election; as if some insidiously deadly altering worldview has taken possession of their souls. Just 3 years ago nearly a majority of Republican lawmakers would have denounced Biden as the despot he has - and is - revealing himself to be. Those that voted to put America first were expected to and every single crook occupying our Government voted how they were expected to. Literally nothing surprising.
