Hi! Welcome to The LDC.
I am an unabashed Logic-Driven Conservative. My mind-set, personality, and yes, my politics have been molded by diverse, nomadic life experiences, lots of people watching, and my professional background. The LDC is commentary from my personal perspective on a variety of events & issues. Opinions for sure, but bolstered by facts, seasoned with a dash of sarcasm, and even a bit of humor.
The BIO: Born & raised in Memphis including BA work in business/economics. MBA work followed in Indiana. U.S. ARMY (infantryman & helicopter door gunner) netted combat decorations and some unwanted holes in my body. Next, an FBI career (11 yrs-investigative Special Agent & 14 yrs-management/executive positions). Retired as Unit Chief to join IBM's corporate staff as a Global Program Director. "Retired" again, and moved South where I've played lots of golf, had three novels published, and consumed a great deal of good wine.
Do I blithly assume you'll embrace my opinions? Nope, some will not. But I suspect many might relate, even find The LDC, dare I say, entertaining. Your feedback & comments are welcomed! But don't even think of calling me on spelling, typos, or form--any idiot can spell words the same way everytime & follow boring grammar rules. Hey, it's my blog . . . Right? Give it a try!
