Hello everyone,
My name is Sonja Simpkins and i am in the military. February 2010, i incorporated a nonprofit organization: Preventing Domestic Violence Resource Center, inc- Using your Mind, Body and Soul. My goal is to start a shelter for battered women that will include many programs to help women to become self-sufficient, so they will not return to their prepertrator. I believe that is why women return to their perpetrator because they have nowhere to go, no support and/or no skills. It is very very important to bring awarness to our communities and stop the violence against women. That is my goal.
