Senate Getting Smarter Vote To Block Trump's National Emergency.

The Senate voted Thursday to block President Trump’s declaration of a national emergency intended to allow funding of a border wall, with a dozen GOP senators going against the White House. Trump said he would veto the measure, which passed the House by a large margin last month.

The final margin was 59-41. Republican senators voting for the resolution and against Trump were Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Roy Blunt of Missouri, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, Rand Paul of Kentucky, Rob Portman of Ohio, Marco Rubio of Florida, Jerry Moran of Kansas, Roger Wicker of Mississippi, and Mitt Romney and Mike Lee of Utah.

Shortly after the vote went final, Trump tweeted a single world: “VETO!” He later added, “I look forward to VETOING the just passed Democrat inspired Resolution which would OPEN BORDERS while increasing Crime, Drugs, and Trafficking in our Country. I thank all of the Strong Republicans who voted to support Border Security and our desperately needed WALL!”

And what about your affiliation with Asian / American prostitution...Trump ?

12 republicans finally grew a backbone and stood with the constitution instead of trump.  Unfortunately, he will veto it, but at least they sent him a message.  I think they may have send him another one on Yeman.

Now on Yeman, I actually think we should stop intruding in other countries, but standing up to trump's attempt to set congress aside for a power grab is good.

And yes, I read about the prostituion ring the other day...what else is trump probably engaged in...it just doesn't end.

Indeed, scene, and a few posts back I re-posted a Yahoo news article that more than hinted at Trump's involvement.

The more that is heard, the less convincing any suggestion is that somehow trump himself didn't know about it all along. Actuslly, i have seen that as a lie almost since the beginning, but certainly since it came out that jr had that meeting with the Russian "lawyer".

Scene, Russia interferred in the 2016 elections. They want to destabilize the USA. Knowing Trump could be had, they promoted him in social media and went after Hillary.

That is what I have believed for some time now.

There can be no doubt now, scene, that your suspicions were correct.
