Line 'em Up

Line 'em Up
Okay, let's have the dark cars on the left, the white trucks on the right, and you purple flags go up along those poles.....

Signs of the Past

Signs of the Past
Signs, signs, everywhere there's signs.......remember that song? Anyway, took this pic in color but liked the sepia version better, gave it a real old time look.

Lil' Red Church

Lil' Red Church
This church was in Vancouver. A neat little place.

Flowery Praise

Flowery Praise
I really liked the contrast of the flower against everything else up on this roof.

Row Row Row Your Boat

Row Row Row Your Boat
Not sure if the Master trained the Dog, or if the Dog trained the Master.....

Damsel in dis dress?

Damsel in dis dress?
Hark, what fair maiden lies beyond thou window......

Absolutely confused. Haha

Apparently that makes two of us.

Well, well well....that dawg obviously trained th' woman tuh stand like that while rowin' that thing....LOL

Karate - Yeah, that dog trained that woman like your niece is training you...{#basic-smile.gif}

Ha, ha ha....if only that wasn't true....{#basic-laugh.gif}

Love the little red church and the rose is awesome too.   Damsel in distress is gonna fall and bust her bust!

Kat - Trust the bust, for which I just lust, will not rust, but must turn to dust.

All these photos are what you saw today? Wild--weird ---wonderful.

Ana - Not today, but one day in May....

Oh, there sure is alot going on. I've lived in the SW too long. :)

Hope the Orpheum has been redone!!!

The standing up on the board is a BIG sport down here--heck I can't even stand up  on the ground let alone on a board on water!!!

This is a shot from Vancouver, and apparently they have an Orpheum up there too.  Don't know how much refurb work has been done in SF.  I was there years ago for something, I think maybe the Abba musical?

As for boarding, you need to find a board with a lounge chair on it, then find some young hunk to tow you around while you lean back and sip pina coladas.

I'd rather do that on the yacht I will buy when I win the Lottery!

I love the church, it is beautiful, also the raft with the dog and girl, that cute.

FL - The lady said something about practicing so she can make her way to Florida.

Tell her to come on down, depending on where she is at skinny.

I love that pink rose on the roof but...it looks like it's growing out of the roof?!

Irish - Haven't you heard about the miraculous growth properties of asphalt shingles?....lol..... I think it's a fake flower, seemed like an artist lived there.

Poeple can grow grass on cars so why not roof shingles?  No, really, I looked at it after I typed the first comment and thought, duh, all the flowers must be fake but there was that little...shade...of...doubt..LOL!

"People", too...; )

Loved the flower picture....so beautiful!  I think this water board rowing is a new recent past time - or means of exercise. Guess the dog is just along for the ride since I don't see him doing the "dog paddle."  ^..^

Is that what water-boarding is??? So what's the big deal???

Cats - I assume it's new too.  Have only seen it once or twice.

BFD - If the US would have her doing their water boarding interrogations, we would have had all the information we needed years ago......

Yeah...the phrase that comes to mind is "Lucky Dog".

@bfd - LOL I do believe that's what it's called. I've seen people doing it on TV shows in the background. Probably it's called something else...lol...but your right, doesn't look like it would hurt too much at all, huh?

The photos were great as always. The caption in the first photo reminds me of separating the darks from the whites in the laundry! The flower on the roof is pretty, kinda odd how people arrange things. The Church looks so quaint! Oh I like all the photos!

Now take a bow and move on to the next comment...lol!

MS - Reminded you of laundry?    Dear, you've got to get hubby and the kids to help out more around the house.

I am now taking my bow (thank you) and moving on....lol...

Yes, skinny it did.... A shame isn't it??? I'll give you our address so you can  come over and light a fire under my hubby and kids to help me out more! lol!

the last photo didn't load for me. what was it? :)

LOVED the girl and her dog on the surf board!

Rica - Don't tell me that blogster's resident technical wizard is having technical problems?     {#clap.gif}    I guess that would be today's example of ironic.

If it doesn't load properly for you today, you can see it on my tumblr page:

http://skinnysphotos.tumblr.com/

hahahahahaha. Hugs! the techie wizard would be bobski not me.

I just saw it and wow....

I've been looking at your pics and LOVE the way you see the world through your lenses. Thank you for the inspiration.

# 1 Sepia signs A+.  but they are all good, thanks skinny for pics.

Okie - That's a nice report card for today.  By the way, ships coming next Saturday.

Oh yipee skinny:) thank you so much for thinking of me. Your one hell of a  guy . I appreciate the thoughts{#thanks.gif} and pics:)

As usual, excellent pics coupled with sharp wit...you done good.

BFD - Thanks.  Hope things are getting a little back to normal in your neck of the woods.

Yep, a little rain, a few thousand tons of retardant, and 1500 firefighters is all it takes!

I love the sepia one of the hotesl and buildings.  Very evocative.

Fangio - Like the evocative.

Seeing the pic with The Orpheum brings back wild memories...

d - Why do I get the feeling that "wild memories" and "dphilip" go together.....{#basic-smile.gif}

Wonderful

M3 - thank you.

LOVE the dog on the board....was there a woman with it?

You cannot imagine the phenominal effort at restrained I have to exercise to keep from making a comment about what or who in on that board!!! {#basic-wink.gif}

LOL!!!  aw...c'mon bfd....let it out!  You know how unhealthy phenomenal restraint is ! :)

MM - I'm sorry,  what dog?   what board?

oh....I see skinny.  Ignore the best part of the picture.......sigh.  men.

Okay....1.  nice lookin' bitch...the beagle ain't bad either...

2.  Love the dog on the board...was there a pooch, too?

lol!!!   Well worth the wait and now don't you feel better?  I know I certainly do since I needed a good laugh.  Thanks bigdaddy.

MM: I only noticed that cute little dog, too. Must have wiped out the photo for our viewing. Was the Obama Administration here recently to clean things up?

LOL!  I think the cute little dog is the major focus and the rest is just clutter.  :)

MM: yeh, definitely cluttering up the shot.  Some of those peeps will be complaining that she needs to lose some weight like they're doing with that gorgeous super model Kate (?). If I had a body like hers I'd be....well, that's a comment that's best left alone here or relegated to a PM. ^5

There's no way my dogs would get on a surfboard even for a nice treat. They are not athletic nor do they want to be shark bait...chum in the water.

LOL!  I'm afraid my mikey is not built for surfboarding....nor does he have the temperment yet.  Don't know if he'd allow a life jacket....he's a country boy after all.  :)

Geez, Skinny. That was quite the racist comment on the first photo noting color.  I checked out your website & bookmarked it just in case...why...I don't know why except if this site goes down one day I want to be able to keep track of you!

Think he was singling out purple flags???

BFD -  I was actually singling out the grey electrical transformers, hoping you wouldn't notice....

Has Hersh been hitting the hooch on a Monday morning?{#blue_spin.gif}

BFD:must be. I never thought Skinny would have a vendetta against the color Purple. ;-)

Skinny: put those telescopic eyes back in your head or store your imagination where it rightfully belongs. Gotta have my fruit every morning to keep up my feisty attitude. Try this on Saturday and let me know if does the same thing to you as it does for me. Hint: you may want to indulge AFTER you upload your Saturday Post.

"...the color purple..."  He better not let Oprah find out!!

Hershey:  I looked at that recipe, whew!  Grandpa used to keep stuff like that in a mason jar...but he skipped right to the chase...no apples or anything else...just clear liquid fire.

BFD: bet that mix by Grandpa gave everyone one super headache for days. I had some homemade Peach Brandy once made by some real Florida Crackers that literally knocked me out after one small glass. Powerful stuff.

Oprah: with her network tanking she may enjoy having Skinny as the featured guest to explain his photography as there are plenty of subliminal meanings in his shots but you have to look carefully and have a vivid imagination.

"have a vivid imagination"?.......or "have a closet full of Mason jars"......{#basic-smile.gif}

I ain't going near that grain alcohol.  Don't wanna go from "squirrel on camera" to "squirrel on fire".....

SG: I will not type what I want to type..I will not type what I want to type...

Double dog dare ya........

Skinny: send me a round trip airplane trip to SF so I can shadow you when you take some shots of your beautiful area of the USA. I'll buy Mrs. Skinny a new collar for you so we can take you for a nice walk.

That may influence me to type what I want to not what I should.

So I have to give you money AND suffer with a new collar?......Nope, Skinny needs to run wild and run free, shaking his tail with undisguised glee.  With the wind in his fur and the smell of the sea, he stands tall against those who would dare to climb his tree.

I think no more walks.  It's time for Outlaw Biker Squirrel to ride into town.....
