How young they start school?

Well, my friend is thinking about sending her boy to school. But she don't know how old they should start school. Yeah for start he should be attending kindergarten. How about nursery? DO you think kids learning something from nursery too?
It is not cheap here the fee for a month will be $380. That's a lot of money! Tell me what you think of how young they should start school. 3 year old or 4 year old or 5 year old?

my friend is unable to care her child as she is working and her sister in law is not helping at all always ask her kid to go nap and often scold him too. So she choose to put him kindergarten and it is right decision as he has fun there and learning to speak more. |

I worked as an aid in a private pre-to second grade, schoolll in La Jolla CA. So the child first of all had to be potty trained, we had children as young as 2. My opinion, yes they learn a lot, however they will not receive nurturing, hugs, kisses, one on one attention, bonding, on and on. They will receive germs, bad manners, and more. So if mom dosen't need to send a child, I'd say enrich the home enviornment with music, art, books, puzzles, take the child to parks and walks be in nature, the library, get safe and fun things for small motor skill developement and large motor skills. Share HER insights, love of nature, whatever with the child.
Bottom line.... why have a child and than give that child over to strangers to raise?
