Hey, my name is Shea and I have always wanted to keep a blog since I was twelve. Nothing thrills me more than finishing a poem or a short story that I have been working on for a long time. My wonderful mother is also a writer and I got it from her. She used to laugh when I put my hood from my jacket over my head while I was writing because she said that is what she used to do for privacy. It made her feel as if the world wasn't there. I smiled at her and told her that was exactly how I felt.
