"Bite Sized Mac & Cheese in the Air Fryer. Switch out anything you see below as I just saying what the Air Fryer cook book says....LOL"

Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 1/2 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • Kosher salt and freshly (yeah right) ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
Directions:

Spray a cake pan that fits in your fryer with cooking spray and add the macaroni, broth, cream, cheeses and salt & pepper.

Mix the ingredients together and place pan in center of the basket.

Air Fry for 30 minutes at 350F or until the mac and cheese is bubbling and golden brown. Set aside to cool.

When cool, scoop out approximately 2 tablespoons of the mac & cheese and roll into a ball shape. Set aside on a cookie sheet.

Repeat until you've run out of mac & cheese.

Place the pan in the refrigerator until the balls are firm, approx. 4 hours.

Remove the balls from the refrigerator and dip each into the beaten egg and then roll it into the breadcrumbs to coat evenly.

Spray each ball with cooking spray before adding it into the basket. Air Fry at 400F for 10 minutes per batch or until golden.

I haven't tried this as I just got a book of 125 recipe book for Air Fryers.

Will share the recipes as time permits.

Let us know if you try this and how it tastes.

At least it sounds interesting... I'll wait for your review.

I don't have an air fryer but from the sounds of this recipe, it would make me wish I did!

The next thing I might share is a personal sized pan frittata, and I don't even know what a frittata is, but it looks good in the picture.....LOL

Keep posting recipes and anyone that doesn't own an air fryer, will go get one, lol.  Frittata sounds interesting...

I went shopping for one yesterday!  ...prompted by someone else's recipe...

Let us know how you like it!

The one I wanted ...they had noe, but the stock that had been opened....been burned before...don't do that anymore.

note "noe", but 'one'

fickle fingers!{#angry.gif}

Lol!!  I knew what you meant {#basic-mouth-shut.gif}

Sounds like a keeper.

Yummy!

Loving the sound of this.  Wish now l had an air fryer.  Might just buy one.

Yay new recipes for my air fryer!! Can you add pictures?
