How can you trust a personal trainer with your future plans and fitness goals? Here is how you choose the right personal trainer

1.      The more experienced your trainer is, the better. Studies show that teaching is a great way to learn.

2.      You will soon discover that occasionally you will require your mentor to act like your wellness specialist. Regardless of how extraordinary the mentor might be, if you don’t feel a level of comfort with them, you won’t be able to open yourself up to be helped.

3.      A personal trainer should make their clients feel comfortable during a workout. If the personalities aren’t matched up correctly, clients can be intimidated and not want to return for future sessions

4.      Find out if they’ve been formally instructed in a given area and are certified to teach it. If you like the idea of working out with someone who has studied health and fitness in an academic setting, look for trainers who hold degrees in exercise science, physical education, or kinesiology

5.      If you have a medical condition or a past injury, a personal trainer should design a session that accounts for this.

6.      If you are receiving care for a medical or orthopedic condition, a personal trainer should obtain your consent to discuss exercise guidelines and contraindications with your healthcare provider. Visit Podaima Performance for more.
