People are weird creatures
People sometimes say the craziest things of do stuff that just don't make since and makes my wonder about the human species.
Yesterday, a young blue sperm whale washed up on the shore about an half an hour of were I live. And immediately people go there to see it. Some are there to help, but others just for fun.
By the noon, the whale was declared dead and in the afternoon people came from all over the country to look to the dead animal. On the news in the evening I heard people saying things like "that's cool" and "I wanted to see it when I heard it was dead".I almost fell of my chair when I heard those comments. Today there were reports that people came watching how the scientists were analyzing the animal and cutting it in to pieces so that there wouldn't be any danger. And then people say it was a bit foul. If the news reporters tell the evening before that they would do that, then why to those people still go to watch?
When there are floods in certain areas people are always complaining that the city won't do anything and that it keeps happening. I can understand that some are complaining if there never were any floods before. But sometimes you see the same thing happening in areas that are known for floods and people still by the ground there to build a home because it's cheap. Those people I can't understand and I don't think that they should complain.
The same story can be applied to people who buy cheap land near airports and complain afterwards about the noise.
I just can't seem to figure out how those people think and expect other people to understand them.

Most people always want others to understand them but never consider what other people think. But if we hope life can be better, we need to understand others then complains will be less. Before I often thought that one should do this for me, but why must they do that? They have no duty to do anything for you. Some who can bear you must care about you and wish you happy, so they are willing to do something that they don't want. In my opinion, we need to take a close look at ourselves and complain about life as less as possible. |
People are strange, I'll agree with you...I've been on the planet about 50 years and I still haven't a clue why they sometimes do the things they do...have a good evening!
