Andrea likes to talk. (Or as her enemies might put it, "she has a big mouth!") Politice, fashion, world problems, who is dating whom, school activities- you start a conversation, and Andrea turns into a magpie. Except with one topic. Andrea is reluctant to discuss her relationship with Jesus Christ. "Why do you clam up when it comes to spiritual matters, Andrea?" "T don't know. I guess I feel like people might ask me some hard question that I would not know how to answer." How sad that many Christians are reluctant to talk about the most excellent topic of all - the gospel of jesus Christ. Way do we say the message of Christ is excellent? Because: It is true (2-Timothy 2:15). It offers hope to ahopeless world. "Continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel" (Colossians 1:23). It brings salvation. "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation ofeveryonewho believes: first for the jew, then the Gentile" (Romans 1:16). It changes lives. "All over the world this gospel is bearing fruite and growing" (Colossians 1:6). No wonder gospel means "good news"!
