"This delicious thin bread is HOLY, something that will represent a witness between you and THE LORD ALMIGHTY. These ingredients are optional, and how you want to cook it is optional. But there's never a bad time to make Lotsa Matzah!"

Ingredients:
  • Flour
  • Whole Wheat Flour
  • Baking Soda
  • Shortening
  • Honey
  • Water
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • And even more, if you want!
Directions:

Combine the ingredients, then put dough onto floured surface. Knead for five minutes, then roll out until about 1/8 inch thick. On either parchment paper or a greased cookie sheet, bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 20 minutes.

Excuse me but I am confused---matzah is an unleavened bread generally eaten by Jews during Passover but, of course, can be eaten at other times--I have never heard of matzah being made with anything but flour and water but then I have never heard of Israeli matzah which doesn't mean it doesn't exist! :O)

I noticed that at the store they sold these unleavened bread crackers called Israeli Matzah, so I looked up the ingredients and directions online, and this is what I got. Of course, flour and water is essential, but all these other ingredients are optional. I just thought that some people may want to use other ingredients just in case.
