For three years now I have been trying to take tid-bits of information and translate it into useful information that everyone can understand, but I now see that my attempts were futile at best.

There is an old saying, “a day late and a dollar short” that describes my efforts here at Blogster. My message has always been a sound one that was based on historical fact, but unfortunately that message was one that has long been buried under a giant pile of Government cash. You see, it doesn't matter what direction our country is going in, or even how we got to this point, because the real demon at work is not Obama, Newt, or Romney; it is cash.

This country was founded on the idea that God granted us certain rights as human beings, and if our Government could secure and defend those rights we could all pursue the American dream to the best of our ability, allowing us as individuals the opportunity to either succeed or fail on our own merit or lack of. In the beginning that success came with the responsibility that we look after, and take care of those that we are close to who could not, for whatever reason, stand on their own two feet. A great idea, until of course people realized that it was easier to get votes with cash than it was with ideas.

The very second that personal responsibility was replaced with tax payer cash in exchange for votes, our country was sent down the garbage chute to hell with no turning back. I don’t care if Obama was born in downtown Moscow from the womb of a Muslim witch-doctor, and I don’t care if Newt Gingrich was born in a whore house with a Fannie and Freddie mortgage the Madame did not qualify for; this argument goes back so far that most politicos can’t even comprehend it. Simply put, the more the Government gives people the more they want. The more they want the more leverage the Government has against the people. The more leverage the Government has against the people, the more control the Government has over them. Our officials have used our money to buy our very souls, leaving us with no choice but to re-elect those whowill continue to pay us for our loyalty. That loyalty is two-fold however; half of it is our loyalty to the Government who has enslaved us, and the other half is our loyalty to our own weak character and greed.

It is my declaration that we as a country are doomed to collapse because of our own willingness to participate in the reckless looting of our own futures. We have a President who is eagerly looking forward to the final stages of our transformation from individualism to collectivism, but he is not the villain. He is just the last of a long line of American Presidents working towards the same goal. The current system is too large, too corrupt, and too powerful to change, so our only choice is to prepare to take our place in history; a place that we have all taken an active part in reaching. We are finished, so there is no need for me to continue bailing water out of this sinking ship while the majority of the country is still drilling holes in it.

Our history goes far beyond Bush and Obama, and this free-fall goes far beyond any conceivable financial bubble. We are all the victims of our own lust for the path of least resistance, and our lust for free money. To all of my Blogster teammates and combatants alike, I bid you farewell. In closing just let me say; wisdom and knowledge is only as useful as your capacity to accept the reality of what you have learned.
