I think another highlight is something very important that Bohemian Coding hasn't been mindful enough: work-flow changes. Sluggish and not well-thought-out updates in some key features have got caused designers to find momentary unsustainable workflows. Especially in layer styles and symbol features. It's not good to drive designers and teams to set things up on your own and re-adapt that frequently. I think this really is corrosive.

Along with any layer currently selected, alt+hover will appraise the distance of that layer to anything you are positioned over. This really is helpful any time laying out objects and trying to follow a system. I have also found it's far more accurate than Photoshop's smart guides.

I am beta-testing Sketch 43 for the past few weeks, exporting tons of SVGs, and this new feature has been working nicely. In one design I seen a rare insect, where a redone SVG path through an outside boundary had an additional vector point but that was simple to work around and the Sketch team is aware of the irritate.

I feel such as there are only 2 types of designers: individuals with extreme OCD and those with slightly less than extreme OCD. It may not seem like a big deal, when you are able to do a quick command in order to rename the layer or even group causes it to be seem foolish if you don't take action. Cmd+r makes the title of no matter what layer/group you have selected in the layer palette editable so that you can quickly rename it. What's great too is that you can hit TAB to visit the the subsequent layer under it and it becomes editable so that you can rename. Also, whatever layer you have selected in the level palette is highlighted having a light azure outline in your canvas so that you know exactly that which you are renaming.

Before we go further, it's important to remember that SVG uses the term stroke instead of border. They are effectively exactly the same thing, but I try to use border when talking about Sketch (i.e. any layer prior to it has been exported) and heart stroke when talking concerning SVG (the released result).

Sketch will a great job at making sure form sizes and positions take presctiption exact pixels, but sometimes they miss one. It is possible to usually inform from the inspector window when picking a shape. Sketch to Html Services The size will be 35x34.68 when it should be 35x35. The shape looks fine but it can easily mess with your own spacing between elements. Rounding towards the nearest pixel is a crucial shortcut personally.
