Getting’ Figgy with It!: Fetish Six Figging
Getting’ Figgy with it!
Fetish six Figging
I was reminded of this fetish today when I was talking to one of my interesting callers. He and I spend a lot of time just talking about the more extreme practices in masochism because he is a radical masochist.
For Mr.X he wants to be beaten until he cries and screams then have a gag put into his mouth and be beaten some more. The thrill for him is not having the “punishment” because he wants his punishments to hurt, cause pain and basically break him down. His thrill is in the memory and anticipation it gives him fodder for his autoerotic encounters.
His Punishment is basically severe spanking, caning, paddling and whipping, with a strong preference for the cane. I am not a cane kinda girl. I can take most beatings but the cane is a very painful implement which is perhaps why they use it in several foreign countries on criminals. I imagine it would be exceedingly effective. Caning is what lead to this particular fetish.
Apparently in the Victorian times which were by all accounts very kinky and perverted in their own right Figging was used along side caning as an act of punishment as well as pleasure.
To fig you have a ginger root and you peel the skin off of it and shape it in the shape of a “butt plug” when this is done it is inserted into the anus (according to the Victorian usage). This causes an intense burning sensation which according to Victorian literature prevented the women being caned from clenching bet but cheeks because if she did she would get his with a shot of the stinging painful juice thus forcing her to relax her butt or wriggle more.
Now it is used in the anus, vagina, urethra and clitoris for both pleasure and pain (if you derive pleasure from pain) as well as in the punishment of a slave.
According to the reading I have done Figging is used in place of other burning substances which are caustic in sensitive area’s (this does not stop people from using them) like Bengay and tooth paste because it is “safe”, “non-caustic” and when removed so are the effects. I cannot attest to these claims because I have never done it so readers beware.
I have however experiences a jalapeño pepper and let me tell you that sucks, bad but again that is caustic.
Historically it seems Figging was originally used in show horses to cause them to keep their tails up. Apparently one of those Victorian freaks decided it might keep our arses up too!
