About Me

 

I'm an Aussie expat currently living in Jakarta. I am from Perth Western Australia, the most beautiful city on earth (just my opinion of course).

I love animals more than anything else in the world.

I love meeting people, blogging, old movies...and my favorite activity is cooking. The only domestic chore I am any good at, and I love all different kinds of foods.

I travel a lot but hate flying. I cant wait for that machine in the USS Enterprise, where you just say "Beam me up Scotty" and you're there.

I dont have time for judgmental people or people who dont value other's opinions regardless of whether you disagree or not.

I am a pacifist, peace-loving, happy person. I love laughing, great jokes and my motto is.."A smile is the most inexpensive way to change your appearance" That about says it all....

 

I've been here since October 2002 and I will be going home to Australia for good at the end of this year.

I love Bali, my favorite island in the sun. It is only 1 hour 20 minutes flight from Jakarta and a great place to spend a nice long weekend. But home is where the heart is and Perth is my home and I miss it.

I love making friends of all nationalities and love the diversity of different cultures and I have been blessed to have been able to experience so much of it.

I love and am very passionate about animals and their welfare.

Hobbies : Travelling, cooking, taking care of my adopted stray cats, about two dozen of them.
Music : All soft romantic love songs from sexy crooners. Hate heavy metal, hate rap, hate noise.
Movie : Romantic ones like Ghost, Sleepless in Seattle, and I love animated movies like Finding Nemo, Happy Feet, Shrek, Madagascar and any movies about animals.
TV : Grey's Anatomy, Brothers And Sisters, House, Army Wives, Boston Legal and anything and everything on Animal Planet.
Video Games : not into video games, although I loved lemmings when it first came out years ago.
Books : John Grisham Novels, and romantic adventurous fiction with happy endings.
Magazines : National Geographic, Readers Digest, Time and Newsweek.
Favorite Drinks : Pinacoladas, Snowballs, Brandy Alexander and any other cocktails with cream.
Activities : Having lunch with friends, ten-pin bowling, salsa dancing, ice-skating and surfing the web.
