You take some great action shots!

Thank you. I have a little bench out near the feeder. I was sitting on it with camera in hand just waiting for the little guys to come up. They were so nice to come and play.:) It is just a blast watching them but taking photos of them frozen in time is way cool. So glad you liked them. I had a great time taking them. Thanks for stopping in and for your wonderful comment. Have a great day.

I would love to have something like that in my back yard. I am pretty sure I would sit there until I got the perfect shots lol!

It is cool. It really does not take long to get some very cool shots as long as the little guys decide to feed while you are out there. I have so much fun watching them. I don't bring out my camera too often or you all would be subjected to millions of hummingbird photos. LOL. You should set something up in the spring and see if you can get some of these little guys to stop by. My feeders are all outside of windows so I can see them from the inside as well as outside.

Very cool photos--thanks for sharing.  I love to watch these little guys--received a new feeder for Christmas that I'll be using in about 2 to 3 months when they migrate back to my area.

What a great Christmas gift, too bad you have to wait so long for them to come back. Thanks you for your nice complement, so glad you enjoyed them. Here is southern Arizona some of the hummingbirds stay all year, but in fall and spring we get some traveling migrators come through and drive our poor live here all year guys nuts. They are so much fun to watch dive bomb each other. Hummingbirds are pretty territorial and they don't like visitors much. But there is little they can do when 6 or so show up at the same time. Thanks for stopping in to visit and for taking time to comment. Have a wonderful day.

Humming birds are the cutest little birds. It is amazing to watch them!!!!!!

I agree, they are such cool little creatures and so much fun to watch. Thanks for stopping in and for your nice comment. Have a good day.

Thank you, I always enjoy looking a birds!

These are excellent. I like the one hugging the feeder with his wings, too.

Thank you. I had a great time taking them. They are amazing little creatures. I think the photo your like is the one I liked too. The feathers on his neck are so beautiful and the shape of his wings around the feeder make for a cool image. Thanks for taking some time to stop in and for your wonderful comment. Have a great day.

Are you a professional photographer as you always post amazing pics.

LOL. No I just take photos for fun. It would be wonderful to get paid for them but for me it is just a hobby. I enjoy taking photographs and started posting them here on blogster for 2 reasons, 1 so I had a place and people to share them with instead of just letting them sit on my computer and 2. to remind me to make or take the time to stop and take some photos. Life can get real busy at times and taking time for a little photography is a wonderful thing. Thanks so much for your wonderful complement about these photos, and for stopping in. Have a great day.

your personal fave might be mine too.  but your other shots make it a tough decision.

I just love the way that bird looks, the color on his neck and the way his wings hug the feeder. It looks awesome blown up.:) Very cool birds. I have more... too many more, LOL it was hard to pick just these.:) Thanks so much for your visit and great comment. Have a wonderful day.

Your landscape on clouds is one of your best but this series is, as usual, top marks.

Thanks Meg

Thank you! I had a great time taking these shots. Sitting in the sun under the feeder just waiting for one of these little guys to show up. Their wings move so fast one never knows how the shot will turn out exactly. It is so much fun to look at them all frozen in time in the photos. Thanks for your visit and wonderful comment. Have an excellent day.

Those Hummers and you abilities...great combo.

Thanks so much Ana, so glad you enjoyed them. They are loads of fun to watch. Thank you for your visit and comment. Have a great day

Beautiful sequence. I'm amazed, as fast as those beauties move, that you can get such clear pictures. I mean don't they flutter their wings 100 times per second? I guess that's so fast that it could almost look as if they weren't moving at all..maybe that's it??? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. It was a nice sunny day and I used a fast shutter speed. So glad you liked the photos. Sometimes their wings seem to just dissapear, they move so fast. They are such great fun to watch. Thanks for your visit and nice comment. Have a wonderful day.

These are fantastic.
