Hawk Landing
I lucked out on this shot while watching the hawks hanging around on the power poles. He/She is landing in the giant pine tree a few houses down from us. The hawks have a nest up there. I can see it if I walk a street over, but there is no view of it from my house.

Yes 24-7, I was sitting out back, saw a hawk on the power pole, thought... darn, why do they land when I don't have my camera, AND some how had the intellegents to actually get up and get my camera (though many times when I get back outside everything is gone) took a few shots of him sitting on the pole (kind of boring) and try to get a few shots of him flying (which I did but they are not that great) then follow him to the tree and capture him landing. I am so LUCKY. Glad you enjoyed the photo (little patience required... on my part) :)
