okay, so i have a question. i'm in jrotc, my job is supply, me and my boyfriend (the xo of our unit) missed one day of pre leader week because his sister and law had her baby. so we had to saty there and watch her daughter (she's 16 months old) because he is 18 i'm 16. we were the only "adults" she could trust her with. she asked me in december, if i could come and watch the little girl for her. i didn't know about pre leader week so i said yes. she told me she would hold me to it. so when i got called at 9 am to be told i had to go watch the baby (his mom went with her son ( the sister and laws husband) and her to the hospital, his dad had to work and his oldest brother wasn't home) i said okay i made this promise before this, what's one day going to hurt (considering our co stays absent with no excuse as to where she was and doesn't get yelled at) so i went over to his house to help him watch the baby. we were putting her down for a nap when my phone goes off scaring her awake,i'm irritaded when i answer my phone because it was going to take another hour to put her down (which it did and hour and a half actually) when i answer (none to happily) it was our chief on the phone. he yelled at me for not being there (i put on the rotc fb page that i wasn't going to be there. so he had no right to say i told no one.) he then proceeded to yell at my boyfriend for not being there, when he had just spoken to him yesterday and knew he wasn't going to be there. now me and him have to speak to our commander and chief tomorrow about weither we can keep our jobs (mind you we have only had them since march and are finally getting settled in). is it right that that happens to us, yet our co can go and stick her hands down her boyfriends pants and his hands up her shirt when they are both in navy regulation pt clothing at a public event, and not get fired, not to mention that they constantly don't show up and she constantly screws up (she hasn't been fired yet!) and when meand him don't show up one day because of something important we get yelled at and threatened? i want feed back on this because i don't think it's right. our co's dad is friends with the commander, he satyed in her uncles cabin for the summer. not to mention that she is serving her second year as co when she's only supposed to serve one. if i do get fired tomorrow, they wont see me around after school anymore. good bye drill team. that was the only thing i really ever particapated in anyway. i wont show up to leader week. 35 dollars in my pocket that i can use for an actual date with my boyfriend during the DAYTIME! no staying from 3:15 afterschool till 6 pm. i'll be able to finish my homework without having  to rush. i might actually pass my maths this year. all i can say, is if i get fired, i will be one of the happiest people alive. because the only girl that can replace my job as of currently, doesn't know how to issue things, doesn't know where the ribbon bars are, has noidea how to post the items we ordered doesn't know how to order items, and bearly knows how to check the computer for the items we have on shelf. all i can say is good luck to them. if they fail the inspection this year, it wont be on my shoulders.
