I think the Native Americans were so ahead of their time. The women had none of the modern conveniences, had extremes of hot (it was 109 today in Rapid City, South Dakota) and cold. They never knew if or when their husband was coming home. Was he bringing dinner or not? Maybe this is how CRAZY WOMEN BATTLEFIELD in Wyoming got its name. Yah think?

LOL! Altho I have a microwave and dishwasher...we still live pretty primitive compared to many people nowadays. We're out in the deep woods of west-central Florida. At least our climate is a lot milder. We seldom top 100 degrees...and winters USUALLY are quite mild, altho last year and the year before were real record breakers.
Ya gotta wonder how the original natives dealt with all that...or even the pioneers starting out....I'm sure it was extremely difficult.
That may very well have been how that battlefield got its name...LOL!
