Who needs a title for a blog with a post like this.

I've been wanting to blog for a while now but I didn't have anything real to say. it would have been a blog just to blog and that's not really the way I like to operate. Sometimes if I need an ego boost I will blog just to blog for the simple fact that I know I can. And if you are reading this post and don't like long blogs you can feel free to navigate away from my post in whatever way you see fit. I'm going to take this opportunity to blog all the ides I have had in my head over he last weekish, hopefully you'll have some fun reading it all and I am excited to just get it all out there is one issue that I really do need to get out.

My first blog idea that had no meat in it was again under the inspiration of sports, I know many of you don't follow sports but a couple weeks ago the Australian Open started. I don't follow a lot of Tennis but I always make an effort to watch the Majors. One of the matches I tuned into was Baghdatis vs Wawrinka. I was so glad I did, heres what happened.

So 4 rackets and an $800 fine play resumed, which resulted in more of the same terrible play by Baghdatis losing in 4 sets. In a sport that's known more for finesse it was nice to see shades of John McEnroe and Marty (Martin) Safin, back on the court.

Me second idea came from when i was watching WWE Smackdown last week. A lot of people don't like the WWE for whatever reason they have. But when this happened I said to myself, "How can people hate this".

My appreciation goes out to anyone who watched the entire thing, I know 8 minutes is hard to watch when you aren't necessarily interested.

"SOMEBODY CALL MY MAMA"

Tonight on WWE RAW William Regal said "Watching him Gyrate like that and wiggle is like watching a Walrus giving birth". I got into Twitter tonight and it was a blast to follow WWE RAW on TV and Twitter. I cna be followed @Jaycee1786 :)

I also wanted to comment as to how unimpressed I was watching football on Sunday. The Patriots game was at least entertaining while I decided to catch some Z's during the 49ers game. Both of my team send up losing which were the Ravens and the 49ers, so I'm forced to watch a junk Super Bowl. Early prediction I think New England will win.

That aside I want to say the people of San Francisco are absolutely classless. During the National Anthem prior to the NYG @ SF the camera was panning over the players and coaches of the game, along with the singer. As the players came up on the screen the crowd would react. If a 49ers player came on the tron they would cheer, if it was a Giants player they would booo. I have no issues with all of it, with the exception of IT WAS DURING THE SONG! I found this act absolutely classless, Some respect for the song and the country would have been nice. I don't think people hate San Fransisco for its gay population, which happens to be the butt of many jokes, rather than most of them are jerks. Providence, RI. also has a high population of homosexual people and no one hates them.

So here's my real reason for the blog, and again I thank you all for getting this far, as this is the serious part. Jess and I have been sorta at each other lately. Not really more than normal but more hardcore than usual. The girl knows I love her to death, and I know she loves me to death back but we get on each others nerves something fierce sometimes. I'm sorta getting prepared for a real blow out one of these days. Not that I think a blow out would end the friendship, and upon thinking about it, it might be necessary. We are different in a lot of ways and we are the same in a lot of ways, the problem is while our differences work against each other so do our similarities. We are both IMNSHO highly intelligent people and strong minded. Fuel to the fire, if you believe in this, Pisces always "HAVE" to be right, where Aquarius just is. She swears zodiac means nothing but its just one difference we have learned to accept.

Part of the reason I'm writing this is I know she will read it. We got into it twice tonight and ATM looks like we could be goin at it for a couple day. If that's the case I hope she reads this within the duration and doesn't forget shes important to me.The whole thing is kinda stressing me out really, to have a bestie that is so different that either of us can barely relate to the other. Sometimes she just doesn't get what I'm saying or she will apply things to herself that don't apply and think I said it. Like if I say "He doesn't like Broccoli, don't serve it to him" she will respond with "I never served him broccoli, what are you hearing?"  Well I never said he liked broccoli only that he doesn't like it. I admit there are prolly things I can be more understanding about, and I know we both try, sometimes life and Karma gets in the way.

That's how our second scrum started tonight, well it wasn't broccoli, but focus on the point not the words.

So Jessica, you know I love you, you've been my best friend for a while, You've done a lot for me, and I've grown a lot with your help. I know we aren't the most compatible of friends, but for whatever reason we still hang on to each other.

*I"ll be there for you, cuz you're there for me too...*

Differences are what makes relationships ... interesting. Things would be boring if you were exactly the same. Some differences have to worked around more than others or act as wedges.

Have you tried something like active listening with her, so you each acknowledge what you are hearing each other say? Communication doesn't really work if the people aren't listening and understanding what the other is saying. (One person says something and the other repeats back what they thought they heard. Avoids the "Are you listening?" "Yes" "Then what did I say?" dynamic.)

I know this techniques well, I used it a lot as a Chaplains Assistant in the Army, we called it "The Speaker listener technique". Pretty flashey name huh? Hea.

LOL Vague "flashy" term... but have you used it WITH her? :-)

Yea, I've learned to use in every day conversation even down to to deciding whats gonna happen for dinner.

Hmmm, that would get annoying.

I dont use it ridiculously only saying that its become habit and I did actually catch myself doing it once when I went out with a friend.

After 4 relationships including one with 'the love of my life' I realized that relationships were NOT for me--never regretted that decision--they are hard, require compromise and selflessness---not for me.

What I don't understand is why you put your 'problem(s) with her AFTER ALL the sports stuff and not first--testing her?

The post was written in chronilogical order.

I thought about commenting on that too. To me it seemed like it was hidden under the other things. Your statement, "thank you all for getting this far", recognizes that many people wouldn't bother to read that far down. "Oh, this is a sports post."

Long posts and sports are a pretty big turn off for this community.

Long posts are a turn off on other blogging sites too.

Notice that I didn't comment on the sports stuff :-)

I am going to comment but might be tomrrow befor I can take some time to respond:)

btw I read it all!{#basic-laugh.gif}

I see Passion for bestie in this post. Could be with her karma and yours going strong it's effecting your relationship a wee bit. It will get better, because both of you deeply care about each other. As friends! If neither of didn't give a flip about the other one, what's to fight about?

Not much passion for the tennis or WWE, only Jess, that's what I see.

Nothing wrong the blog overall, I am glad you were able to get this off your chest! I think it's a fine post. {#basic-smile.gif}

We are okay now, it was a rough night. I love those clips I posted. I really enjoyed Baghdatis.

That's good! Glad to hear this round was resolved:)  I know you love your sports and WWE:)

I skipped the tennis video because I wanted to get to the dance-off (which I did watch all the way through!) and it brought back some great memories from the late 80's and 90's when my son watched all the wrestling shows.  (He probably still does but he doesn't live at home anymore and I haven't asked him about it.)  A not so great memory was when I finally parted with the $40 so he could watch Wrestelmania on cable and the unthinkable happened...Hulk Hogan LOST!  Great post and as far as you and your girlfriend...you'll get it worked out and that was a fanstastic dedication video...

fantastic, too....; )

The tennis video was funny tho. Lulz. Shes not my g/f tho, best friend.

I actually hated the idea of Brodus Clay coming back, but then they gave him the awesome Funkasuras gimik and I love it.

I'll have to look at the tennis video in a while and also remember to ask my son about Brodus Clay's comeback...lol.  He'll be impressed I even know who he is.  And I meant to put a space between girl and friend or just leave out "girl" altogether, but I wasn't exactly sure what the connection was.  And now I know!

If you want to impress him further you cna make mention Of CM Punk being the WWE Champion.

Thanks for the scoop and I will!  LOL!

it was bad i was back stage watching him try to get out of that thing lol!!!!!!

Out of?

nothing lol nvm
