Day 3
Day 3 of checking out Blogster. Looks like my setting default: I get an email notification from those I subscribed to - so when they put up a new blog I get an email. Kinda like Multiply. Sucks having to be "Friend" to someone then also having to "Subscribe" to get their blog posts - kinda redundant. Or maybe not. It's possible to have 1000 friends but you really only want to read the blogs of 5 of them.
Oh the FONT SIZE option does not work - another broken piece. Trying to increase the size of my words here and it doesn't work. POO POO Blogster.

Weird. I've been doing it from my computer all day. But now I am using my iPhone and the only thing I can do is reply to posts or read them. I cannot write one. |

Hi and welcome to blogster. We're glad you're here, and hope you enjoy hanging out with us. I know it can be a little confusing to start over in a place that is so much different. But I think you'll find the community to be very friendly and helpful. If you have a question about how to do something, put it up on a blog post and you'll get some responses quickly. Or feel free to contact me directly any time. She has created a group and has posted many of the glitches, tips and tricks as she's learned them, for navigating here. It's also a good place to search for your friends who have made the move. All former multiplyers are welcome to join, whether you know her or not. One major glitch we have that has been a real problem...it has hit a large number of the new members coming in. Sometimes the spam blockers will eat some of the posts of new bloggers. If you should have posts come up missing, please contact me immediately via private message. I cannot fix the problem, but can usually reach Rica pretty quickly so that she can restore the missing posts and tell the spam eaters to leave you alone. Blogster Tips: When responding to a comment, click 'reply' at the bottom of their comment box. That way they will be notified when you reply. Do not reply by clicking on 'post comment.' I was doing that for awhile before somebody pointed it out to me.
Also, in case you weren't aware, on the top left of your page, Under Home Explore Search You will be notified of any comments, friend requests, private messages, etc. I won't even tell you how long I was here before I realized that one...lol!!!!! |

PS: What browser are you using? Internet Explorer doesn't usually interface real well with blogster. Firefox or Chrome is much better. |

It seems that for the first month or so that you are in Blogster, posts may get eaten up by the spam fairy. Complain to Rica if this happens. |
