And it was the big head honcho herself, the owner/GM of Lakeside. With many apologies for keeping me hanging for so long, she seems to be very awesome and cooperative. So there is alot to figure out still (the biggest question: where in the park should we choose to "do it?" ..ha, ha, ha...) but it is going to happen! We are meeting with them this Sunday to walk around so I can figure a spot that will fit all of our guests and look good. Though I have visited this place soooo many times in my life, I am going in with a new perspective and want to make sure Jeremy agrees on the perfect spot. I will take pictures of all spots I think might work and as always ask some of you your thoughts. (Though keep in mind, summer will change how these locations look quite a bit!) 

And it looks like my idea to pick a Friday evening is going to help a bit with the costs since she is giving us a discount from what it would have been had it been set for a weekend. Hopefully this doesn't impact too many people with work...but you can always join us for the afterpark-reception if you can't make the ceremony! (I have two more afterpark reception locations in the running that ended up being cheaper than Delmonico Hall!) I will decide this week on which one we will book and from there things will finally be set as far as locations go:)

Then it's on to finding a dress, an officiant (hey friends, anyone happen to be a handy dandy internet ordained minister??) a photographer(can't afford a professional, but any hobby photogs or student photog referrals would be much appreciated!) and so on...

But for now I am just happy that I will get to race to the Cyclone coaster with my new husband once the kiss is finished:)
