How You Can Deal With The Fine Lines On Your Forehead!

When it comes to Asian mythology, the Ancients have this belief that the fine lines on a person’s forehead were there right from its birth. The belief was that the gods imprinted the fate of a person’s the instance that he/she was conceived on his/her forehead using and iron pen and so what is destined to happen to the person would happen. It was assumed that the gods knew what a person’s destiny was and there was little any human being could do to change it.

Thousands of years after so many people have stopped believing in that nonsense, we still have fine lines on our foreheads to battle with. And the sophistication and beauty consciousness of modern life has made so many people regard these fine lines as something that must be wiped away, simply because this is no longer a sign of one’s destiny but a sign that a person is very old.

We use our facial muscles for frowning, raising the eyebrows, smiling, laughing and so many other facial expression and all these contributes in making these fine lines appear in some cases as early as our late twenties. There are other reasons why these lines begin appearing on our faces earlier than normal. Some folks are of the belief that the more facial expressions that you make every day the more wrinkles and fine lines that you would see on your forehead.

This is not true. Lets take an example of children, no matter how many facial muscles that they make use of in a day to expressed their very varied facial expression you would still not see wrinkles. If facial expressions were the cause of wrinkles, then by the time a child reaches the age of 16 years there should be lots of wrinkles and fine lines on their face. However this is not so, what we see is usually lots of pimples on a teenager’s face and not wrinkles or fine lines.

Wrinkles and fine lines begin to appear when the skin has experienced too much damage from pollution, excessive sunlight, and exposure to harsh chemicals and aging. All these factors contribute to a fall in the amount of Elastin and Collagen that the skin produces. When this happens gradually fine lines begin to appear on the forehead, at the side of the eyes and also at the sides of the mouth.

Surprisingly there are 2 kinds of facial muscles that we have on our forehead. There is the dynamic muscles that you make use of whenever you are doing any facial expression to express your emotions which include:

  • frowning
  • glaring
  • glowering
  • grimacing
  • laughing
  • moping
  • scowling
  • smiling
  • sulking
  • puckering
  • raising your brow

Then we have the static facial muscles which are always inactive since the day you were born. But as time passes each second, the dynamic muscles in your face begins to get distorted a bit and it begins to show this distortion as fine lines and wrinkles that start appearing on your forehead and it becomes very obvious as your grow older every day.

You can reduce these fine lines considerably when you undergo facial lift surgery, use botox injections or make use of products that contain natural ingredients that are well known as being effective in helping your skin increase the amount of Elastin and Collagen thereby increasing it elasticity resilience and smoothness. Products like Kollagen Intensiv are very effective in helping you reduce considerably the amount of wrinkles and fine lines on your face. If you are still not convinced then please see this video for more details about this anti-aging cream .

There are actually topical products and treatments that are very effective in helping you wipe away lines and wrinkles from your skin. This is the reason there is so much demand for facial lift surgery, Botox injections and anti-wrinkle products these days - people know that they are very effective.

There are so many individuals above the age of 40 years old that still wish their skin could be the way it was when they were 20 years old. At this point in their lives, they did not have even one fine line or wrinkle on their forehead back then.

But sadly, too much exposure to the sun is one big reason why so many individuals’ skins loses their shape, texture, elasticity and firmness. And this scenario only produces more wrinkles and fine lines to become more prominent on the forehead. So this is why you should be very careful about sun tanning or going to the tanning salon when you are still younger. Just imagine all the effort you would have to put in to keep wrinkles and fine lines from your skin when you are much older in maybe your 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s etc.
