OOOOOOO....that's just tooooo cute!  Nobody likes a mouse in the house, but I actually felt bad for the poor thing...lol!

If that mouse had died, I would never had posted the video. I put it up, because he beat the odds! I don't know haw they filmed it, because he can't be a real mouse laying there. lol. Some kind of trick to it! lol.

no, sorry Allie, I found that very distressing. I hate those traps....I know, I know...rodents are bad and dirty and carry diseases....but I still hate those traps.

lol, I couldn't stand a mouse around me Maria. If I had a mouse in my house, I would get him with a trap. I wouldn't be able to take him out of the trap, because I couldn't stand to touch him so, I would have to throw mouse and trap away. Sorry it made you feel distressed. {#heart.gif}

it's okay Allie, I just dont like things that hurt any creature, no matter how disgusting the creature is...lol.

I loved mice years and years ago. I had pet mice and they were very smart and cute and funny. I used to let one of them out of the cage once in a while because he used to love sitting on my shoulder watching tv with me. One day I forgot to put him back in the cage and I was doing some vacuuming and accidentally sucked him up in the vacuum cleaner. I freaked out and screamed and couldnt bare to check to see if he was okay. I opened the dust bag very carefully and he was still alive but very shook up. Within a few minutes he was fine and running around again.  Whew!!!!

I havent thought about this for YEARS!!!!!!!!....lol.

I know there are people who do love a mouse for a pet, but I am very afraid of them, that is not my baby. Snakes, mice, spiders or any type of bug, I don't like them. Everyone has their likes and dislikes, I suppose. That alright. If everyone was just a like in the world, it would be a very boring world. LOL.

Years ago my sister had a pet mouse in a cage.  She escaped and disappeared for several days, then came back. They put her back in the cage.  A few weeks later she gave birth.  She had apparently mated with a 'house=mouse'  while she was gone.  The babies were as tame as she was.

That's odd, isn't it. It looks like they would have to be trained. The one on the post is not a real mouse. Like I said. I don't know how they do it, but they can make anything look real! LOL. I hate mice! Oooooo! :)

lol...that's what they do best mamakat, I had these two little mice who were both females when I got them. Unfortunately one was already pregnant and had babies and the babies had more babies and it just kept going. I was adding second and third stories to their little house until finally I couldnt keep going anymore. So I gave them to the local pet shop. I ended up with 37 at the end.  I kept two boys and gave the rest away.

When the boys died I didnt get any more.

What amazed me about them is, they really are very, very smart and you would almost think that they used their brains to figure lots of things out.

Mice and rats both are very smart.  That's why they use them a lot in lab experiments.  Not just 'medical' type stuff where they do initial testing for meds and such as that.  But they are used a lot for behavioral studies because they are so smart.

I dont like using animals for testing of any kind. It's even more distressing when they use animals that are smart. I dont know why but I am one of those people who feels everything for animals...sometimes it becomes an obsession with me and I get so distressed so quickly. There are times (to be honest) I wish I wasnt like this.

I really like most animals, but don't get that obsessive about it--probably did more so in my younger days than I do now.  I'm sure it is difficult at times, to love and feel for animals so deeply.  My hubby is kind of the same way.

The lab test is all their good for as for as I'm concerned. lol. I don't want one for a pet. I am sure God has his reason for creating mice, roaches, spiders and such, but I don't care for either being around me. lol.

living in Indonesia made it worse mamakat. I witnessed so much animal cruelty over there, it was absolutely gut-wrenching. They dont have the same affinity for animals as we do in the west.{#basic-cry.gif}

I'm not keen on the insects like roaches and spiders and stink-bugs and those that bite...but I like snakes and most reptiles too...lol.

Maria, I'm sure that did make it worse.  I certainly don't like to see an animal abused, so I'm sure if I was seeing a lot of that going on around me it would make me more sensitive to the issue.

Well since I made some of you uncomfortable about posting the fake mouse, I apologize for unpseting you and please forgive me, I didn't know it would turn out like this. {#basic-frown.gif}

It didn't make me uncomfortable....I thought it was really a great commercial!!!!!!!   I like advertising and commercials...have done a good bit of the advertising stuff most places I've worked, including the doctor's offices.  I always appreciate a clever, well-done commercial!

I didn't think it would make anyone feel stressed about a funny joke. LOL. I thought it was funny! That's is who I am, is a funny person. LOL. Your going to love this Kat!  lol.

Ain't that the absolute truth....LOL  AT least with my life experiences.  Yep...jalepenos are probably more accurate thatn chocolates in the overall picture.

LOL. I know if I ate some they would burn me. LOL!

Mice give me the willies but I was actually on the verge of feeling sorry for it.  That was so cute!

Yep, they scare me and if one got near me, I would make a new door, if there wasn't one already there, getting out of the way. "I have never seen a real mouse do push ups" have you Irish? lol. :)

If I saw a real mouse doing pushups, I wouldn't be typing...I'd be packing my bags to move out of here!  LOL!

Allie and Irish~  A few years ago, I was cleaning in my MIL's house, and found a baby mouse in the bathtub, he couldn't get out.  I called niece over, she got him out, played with him for about an hour, and got upset because we made her take it out in the woods and let it go.  She wanted to make a pet out of it...lol     But she did the same thing with a baby ring neck snake at somebody's house we were visiting several years ago.  She wanted to bring it home.  We finally convinced her it was too young to be away from it's mother.  (She was only 7 at the time, and believed us...lol!)

{#flag.gif}{#flag.gif}{#flag.gif} Isn't that the truth Irish? Hilarious!!

Nope, no snakes or mice for pets around me. I have been to someones house before, that had a huge snake in an aquarium, and when I saw that snake I left pretty soon afterwards. He finally got so large they let him go,into the woods.

OMG....LOLOL!  How about a...puppy?

There ye go Irish, that is more like it, a cute little puppy! LOL.

...named something sweet and docile, like "Fluffy"....LOL!

That would be a very pretty name for the puppy Irish! {#apploud.gif}{#apploud.gif}{#apploud.gif} We will name our imaginary puppy "Fluffy" lol.

Clever commercial........Cute!!

Thanks Rachel! {#basic-laugh.gif}

U R Welcome...

I was curious about the BIG FAT trap.  Nothing like I had seen before and thought it might have been from a foreign country....

Actually there is really no such kind of cheese.  The guy is from London,  a director.  He had an idea and ..... poof...lol

"Nolan trained a mouse for the opening shots but used animatronics for the rest"

The trap could be from a foreign Country. I have never seen one like that here either. Only the little skinny ones. This is funny I know, but like I told Irish. I have never seen a real mouse do push ups! LOL.

LOL

{#happy2.gif}

All in fun and no actual harm done to any living being. Cute commercial, it gave me a chuckle!

Me to Sally! {#flag.gif}{#flag.gif}
