When Sigrid Is So Weird
My friend, Sigrid, is really weird. In a day, she feels so excited with the things that she's about to do, with her plans, activities. But in a minute, she feels the opposite. She feels that everything is dark, sad and heavy. She feels nothing good and that she seems stuck in this black hole forever. Another minute, she starts to be so energetic again that when you see her you feel that you might jump off the building. She's so full of various feelings buzzing around her that she doesn't know what to focus first. And she just can't stop talking.
And then the next minute, she flips back to the super-peculiar-energy mood. This time, she feels everything is wrong, irritating, distracting, alarming. It seems that big angry rages come over her out of nowhere. And now you would know that everything she is not okay.
Sigrid has a bipolar disorder. She has mood swings she can hardly control. This disorder needs to be treated by a psychologist or a psychiatrist.

Thanks for the concern, guys. She does have a doc but she doesn't see him regularly as most bipolars do. I try to coax her into seeing him more often. I ought to try harder. |
