Actually it does not like me. See my post...LOL!

I will go read it now...My father loves the taste of OJ but it doesn't like him either.

I wasn't expecting this. Where there's a random thought, there's a random survey about it. Good one. I'm a pulp person personally.

The first random thing that popped in my head when I read your post was "I wonder how many people like which kind?"...so I thought I would ask!

I'm a pulp man myself. Living here in Orlando, picking the oranges and preparing it myself is a big plus!

Yeah, I've had freshed picked orange juice and it's awesome!

I picked 'I don't like orange juice.'  I can't say I dislike it, but neither is it on the list of things I particularly like.  I very rarely drink the stuff...maybe once a year, if that.

OJ seems to appeal to some and not others...

Hubby is diabetic, so we almost always have some in the fridge.  But it almost never occurs to me to drink any, because it's not something I care that much for.

I've got my OJ post almost done.  Will be posting it shortly.

With Pulp! :)

See, I'd take you more for the Pulp Fiction type, like myself...

Hi dp!  glad to see more like it with pulp.  Only way to drink it!  My sister used to strain the pulp out.  I would take the strained pulp, sprinkle salt on it and eat it.

Salt? That sounds interesting...

Being originally from Alabama, as a kid, we ate a lot of sour stuff, like crab apples, quince, green plums, green apples, sour grass, geranium blossoms, grapefruit, lemons etc., all with lots of salt.  We also loved unsweetened koolaid poured into our hands and eaten by dipping the index finger into it.  My b/p runs about 96/68.  Go figure!  Fortunately I have outgrown the taste for some of those things!

"If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions."

I love me some Pulp Fiction!

Yeah, thought so...

HA! doin' it th' lazy way...I see....not too much tuh write 'bout OJ, eh? LOL! I told HW I'd do it later; I'm really tired tuhnight! But since ya had tuh ask, I like no pulp in mine. Prevents me from chokin' tryin' tuh drink somethin'! {#basic-laugh.gif}

My first random thought about it was I wonder how many people like it with or without pulp...lol...yeah, I took the easy way out but I had already writen a blog for the day!

Good point....whoah..!! 2 blogs is too much for you...slow down DP! LOL

I like it with pulp, but go for it either way. Hubby doesn't like it, so I never buy it with the pulp included. I love eating oranges, so I probably get the most of mine straight from the orange ^..^

I like the fruit over the juice myself, just tastes better!

ILC~ Eating the oranges is the best nutritionally.  By the time it's juiced and stored in tanks for months and months, about all you have is sugar, with a little vitamin C and small amounts of some other nutrients.  Fresh oranges have lots of nutrition in them.

My husband hates eating oranges unless he has a peeler. We lost ours and I looked all over the net and finally found one that arrived this week. So I'll be getting some oranges when I shop on Friday. I heard though that the price of oranges and orange juice is gonna skyrocket due to some bad harvests. And I mean SKYROCKET as much as 80% of present costs.

It could be there will be some shortages.  There is a large grove two miles away from us that looks like it's got a bumper crop this year...the trees are absolutely loaded, and they are hauling out I don't know how many truck loads a day.  But it may be these are sold as juice oranges...idk...most Florida oranges are.

Definitely pulp!

That seems to be a lot of people's favorite!

I rarely drink the stuff, but when I do, I'm okay with either kind.  From what I read, the pulp has a lot more nutrients in it than the plain juice, so definitely even better for you!

I still like the orange more than just the juice...except for the peel, of course!

Orange Juice without the pulp, is like a Christmas Tree, without tinsel.

Good analogy! What about OJ with tinsel, ew, nevermind just the image is gross!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, I'm ever so Grateful!

You seem to get LOTS of visitors.

Have you been at blogster long?

{#basic-laugh.gif}

I joined in late 2008 but didn't really get into it until '10...my veiwers ebb and flow, sometimes there's more than others, I think it depends on how many blogs one posts as well as how many other blogs one is reading...How long have you been here in blogsterville?

November 18, 2006.  You have 50% more hits dispite me getting here earlier, and 4 times the comments.

{#basic-undecided.gif}

But, most of mine is theological writing, some politics, humor and pictures.

Thanks for asking!

have a great life,

{#basic-laugh.gif}

Thanks Richard...you too, enjoy this life!

Actually if I do drink it, it is best with Peach Schnapps and cream.

But if I drink it by itself, it's between meals, never with food...or I get heartburn.

And I buy the kind with Calcium.

I like your first suggestion...makes me laugh!

My wifey gets heartburn from drinking OJ too fast or too often.

If she drinks it, make sure it is NOT with food, I think especially with carbs...therein lies a lot of the problem.

True...I will remind her next time she has some OJ!
