I'll be getting the post up late this afternoon or early evening. I'm working on some ideas for it now. |
the first song that came to mind was....."thats what friends are for"... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtGF2m102Wg but will keep thinking on it.... |
Sounds like a delightful weekend...I do hope you have time to stop by mamakat's blog this weekend for a holiday toast! |
I will have a little of this and a little of that going on this weekend. My general motto is NEVER go anywhere on Labor Day! Hope to stop by for a cookie or brownie! |

Labor day is one of my favorite holidays because it’s one of the truly American celebrations…on this weekend we honor the blood, sweat, tears, trial, tribulations, creativity and industrious effort and attitude of The American Workforce; without whom this country would not have been built, would not continue to function and could not grow in the future…So, I ask, what are YOU doing this Labor Day Weekend?
We are not doing much because it’s a busy weekend at the liquor store where wifey works, so I plan on celebrating right here on Blogster at a “Virtual Party” hosted by the lovely and endearing mamakat…I am going out on Sunday evening to see the legendary Dr. John perform at a small venue in Evanston and we’re thinking about visiting MIL on Monday for some burgers on the grill…but otherwise, I will be here, toasting and sharing in the riverly of another Blogster Party!
Whatever you’re doing this holiday weekend, please be aware of your surroundings, watch the roads and keep your eyes peeled, there is always danger. Drive safely or stay safe at home, remember the workers, like you, who built this country and as always, take care, be well and stay cool!
