Hey My Blogster Friends…

I don’t know if you’ve read my recent blog(s), but I am planning to exit blogster for a while, and possibly after the 1st of the year, I will leave permanently. Before I go I wanted to both express my most Grateful feelings for your friendship here as well, I wish to invite you to stay in touch with me beyond blogster. I can be found easily on Facebook or YouTube, you can Google me by name (d’Philip Chalmers) or simply shoot me an e-mail directly at dphilip.chalmers@gmail.com or visit my website, www.dphilipchalmers.net anytime. I do tend to withdraw for a while during this time of year, but I always respond to direct contact so please, don’t hesitate in staying in touch, fair enough?

As for why I might leave this site permanently, it’s a matter of controlling my intellectual properties and I consider some of my blogs to be exactly that, works of intellectual property. I will publish stuff on-line, I will continue to author a few more novels and I’m always working on screenplays, so I stay busy without this site. I started blogging here as a therapeutic exercise, I called it something of a “social sojourn” to help me find my way back from my nervous break down; I have started to feel like maybe I have reached the end of this journey, this social sojourn and so I am stepping beyond this forum. I also have not felt comfortable around this site for a while, I see so many blocks going up and it reminds me of the walls we need to tear down, not build. I will keep this account active, I am going to leave most of the posts I have made since 2008 up for historical purposes, but my future contributions are going to be somewhat different and limited. Again, the best thing that has come from my experience here is meeting people like you which is why I’m sending you this little personal message.

Should you chose not to contact me, that’s cool too…I can easily dig that and I would harbor no ill feelings regarding that decision. I would wish you well as you continue this path of Life and should we ever meet again, I would certainly hope it’s upon friendly terms. I know this “form letter” is a little weird, yet knowing how I am, you’ll understand that I cannot write to everybody on my friends list individually; I will, however, respond individually when/if you were to contact me directly. Again, I express my heartfelt gratitude and most sincere wishes for you to take care, be well and stay cool!
