Should Blogster users have the ability to create tags, seein' as how there are hardly any in the database?

Bobski is in the process of reprogramming the whole site. It's been an ongoing project for quite awhile, but hopefully it will be done soon One of the changes he's making is that we will be able to pick our own tags for our posts...anything we want. So.....eventually we will have that option, along with quite a few other (hopefully) improvements. |

Still don't know what a tag is. All I know is if it don't have a tag on it it takes forever for a price check at Walmart. The checker pretends that there really is somebody in that department and then stands there and stands at looks at you. You get nervous because the people behind you are looking for things to stab you with and you say, "never mind, I don't really want that anyway." The checker mumbles under her breath. "finally!" |

I just checked a few of your posts. You don't use tags...or categories... that's why. At the bottom underneath your post you'll see a thing for categories.... An alphabetic listing of a wide variety ranging from 'about me'...to 'travel' and many topics in between. Click the one that applies best...most of yours would be good listed under 'arts and entertainment'...then more options in the next window....'humor'....then the next window, choose 'funny stuff'.... Tags are to the right of where you write your post. You can 'search tags' enter in a word that may relate to the topic of your post...you can use up to five. However, the tags are pretty limited. Sometimes I have a problem coming up with one that applies to a given post. You would likely have an even more difficult time with yours. Anyway, all these are optional...you don't have to use them to post a blog. It probably doesn't even matter that much. I don't think anybody pays much attention to them. |

OK. I get it. I use to use them but I didn't really see the relevance so I dropped spending time tagging. Do people really look up subjects on Blogster? I never do. |
