What is the best way to lose belly fat? That is the question a lot of men has been asking nowadays. Well the basic answer is this, in order to lose abdominal fat you will need to lose weight.

There is no magic exercise that can spot reduce fat in any area of the body. So the money you spent on all the ab cruncher roller things is just a waste, because they will not make your stomach get smaller if you still have a lot of fat covering it.

If you look at the pictures of men with great abs like Matthew McConaughey or Brad Pitt, these guys are lean and almost have no fat in their body. You can see why this is here exercise to lose tummy fat, exercise to lose belly fat. Losing weight is the first step in making your gut fat disappear.

The first thing you need to do to lose weight is you need to check what you eat; you know what they say garbage in garbage out. You need to at least have some protein in each of your meals. The reason for this is that protein helps process the carbohydrates you eat, it helps burn the food faster so it will not be stored as fat.

If you do not know yet, carbohydrates that are not burned properly in the body are stored as fat. So if you eat a lot of refined carbohydrates like bread and rice, it will increase your body’s insulin levels. And if your insulin levels are high our body store fat more.

So what you need to do is you need to have proteins in each of your meal. A good rule to thumb here is for every 3/4 cup of rice or 1 slice of bread you eat, you need to eat like a piece of lean meat, chicken or fish the size of your palm.

This way you have enough protein in your meals to process the carbohydrates properly so it won’t be stored as fat.

Another thing you need to do is get a lot of exercise, like an hour a day. Exercising helps burn of those fats, remember when you don’t have a lot of carbohydrates to burn, your body will use the stored fat as energy and that will be the one that will help you slim down and lose that belly fat.

Please make sure that you also get a lot of rest, at least 6 hours of sleep a day. A good night’s sleep helps the body recover and make function better.
