I know what your thinking. Your thinking wow she is updating and for once not late. This time I decided to update on time. Hard to believe that this year is almost over. To some people this year has sucked, but for me it has been an amazing year. Kinda sucks that I feel like I can’t say it because of what other people might say. This is the last month of 2020 and I am going to make this the best.

What has been going on?

Reading. I am happy to announce that I finished my reading challenge for the year. I know what your thinking there is still time if I want to add more books to my challenge, I have managed to read more. Watching. Sometimes I get into the mood to adventure out and watch new things, but I always end up chickening out and I am not sure. I think it is because I am a 1 series at a time kinda person I don’t know. Since schoolstarted I have started back watching some things but lately it is mostly anime related. The Masked Singer is back on so I been watching that. My husband and I have also been watching This Is Us. It went off for a hiatus, but it will be back in January.

Eating & Drinking. November was kinda good, to be honest. I have been sticking to my flavored waters and my coffee. I have been good I have not had any slip-ups with soda. I been going to the gym 3 or 4 times a week. I actually dropped 10 pounds. It has been hard to coordinate with school and my work schedule but I have managed. With the holidays it has been hard. Thanksgiving came and went honestly I was not really wanting to celebrate it, but I did. I saw my family and then ate dinner with my in laws.

Any new photography lately?

Now when it comes to photography I have around to posting new photos.

The College Process: You know back in January when I first started this journey I had been excited because I knew this was the year I was going to make my dream come true, and it did not matter what I had to do to be able to accomplish it. I made sure I did the financial aid paperwork first because if something happened ( Which nothing did) I would have time to fix it. The process with setting up an academic advisor meeting prior to Covid-19 was a new experience and once I was settled the process of registering for classes was new, but honestly the whole process as a wholewassosimple. Here I am now taking two classes for the fall semester and enjoying every minute of it. I am working hard balancing school with work and it is like I been saying it is all going to be worth it. I can honestly say school is going so well for me I can’t believe the semester will be over in December. I am doing well for the first time in years I am holding straight A’s and my goal is to keep that for the whole semester. I already registered for Spring Semester and I am happy to say I start my first accounting course along with another math class and a introduction course to the business program. Honesty I am looking forward to it.

Work Front. Since I last updated a lot of things have been going on. I been working hard for the past year and eight months .Well I feel like a lot of my co workers are starting to get burned out. Some thought they would have a new job by the time the holidays started. I laugh because they are still here. I enjoy my job honestly, because I go in do what I have to do, and then leave. I don’t let the customers get to me. Let me tell you he did hire one lady, turns out she worked there before I used to here horror stories about her, and I have worked with her once shewasnotbad. My boss hired a guy, but I have yet to meet him, only because he works us on opposite schedules. I will get to meet him eventually. My boss and I have been getting along fine. I had my hours cut down to 25 a week, but honestly it does not feel like it because I stay so busy. I ended up keeping my hours at 25 for November. Also my December schedule doesn’t look bad honestly I am good with that.

That is all for now until next month!

You have been busy Kayla. Funny you're eating and drinking said October and you had T-day in October. But I knew what you meant. I wonder why he cut your hours to 25. This means you do not get any benefits if they had any. And hire new people if they can't even give you the hours you need. But I guess that is ok if your ok with it. I was suprised to see two months in a row that you were here early to make your monthly report. Have a great December my friend. Bro. Doc

I am only part time at my job, so I dont have benifits through them. I do however have certain stuff through my husbands company. I actually requested to have my hours trimmed down to 25 for school. Finals are coming up so I want to have the time to study and to do well. So far I have straight A's in my classes.

I remember University years ago. I remember needing lots of time to study and learn. And over the years I have 3 degree's Doctorial. So I do understand the time you need to study. I know you will do well Kayla and get your degree. Good thing the husband has medical and things you can use through his company. Yes, finals should be coming soon. And I know you will do well my friend, and Ace with A's. Bro. Doc

This is interesting because I had never heard of any of those books.  I like to read a lot, usually in a couple of genre's but it sounds like at least the first one is about something that I might enjoy reading, so I am checking it out of the library to see what I think.  I may read others if I find any more that resonant with me.

Thanks for sharing your reading list.
