About Me
I'm on my way to Northern Thailand to complete my final classes for my BA in Linguistics and minor in Asian Studies through California State University, Chico.
While I *was* supposed to be in Japan right now, completing my Japanese minor... Certain natural disasters occurred, and my trip was subsequently cancelled.
But NOW! After changing minors, I actually have discovered even more opportunities in my upcoming journey to The Land of Smiles, especially considering my Linguistics background. I will not only have the privilege to study sustainable agriculture and the Thai/Lanna culture, but I will also have the opportunity to do some Linguistic fieldwork documenting/recording speakers of Lisu.
And once that ends, I will be teaching English to Buddhist Monks!
I haven't got much to be bummed about. In fact, I'm quite elated. 
Here I come, Thailand!
