Why do I hear a waterfall?
We left the office late the other night, and as I got out to my car I heard what sounded like a waterfall.
"You got a waterfall under your car there Tony?"
"No..."
It was dark but he noticed a waterflow across the parking lot which we followed to the office building next door. You know those automated watering systems that spray mist on plants and stuff? Apparently the head broke off of one of those and was shooting a stream of high pressure water straight up and into the window of the building.
We thought it was pretty funny after the long day, heheh.
Sure hope the seals on those windows were good, or that person probably had a wet office the next day! With as hard as the water was hitting the building I had no idea those things were under that kind of pressure.

Brrrr looks cold to me. We have 2" of freezing rain and sleet..with snow as I speak. Hope we don't see any of this around here..trees are covered in 1/2" of ice! |

Bobski: it is a funny story and good that there wasn't a pipe burst inside the office bldg. Those outdoor watering sprinkler system pipes need to be "blown out" each fall in colder climates or that exact thing will happen. My neighbor in Lafayette, In had the same thing happen at his home and funny thing is he owns a home remodeling business..you'd think he'd know that but not so. |

LOL, I heard one of those once... it was some pipes on top of the neighbors house, something to do with their pool.:) Guess they burst, I let them know. The neighbor was not happy at all about her waterfall. LOL |
