I found Texas
When I got in Texas a week ago, it was like 2AM and dark and I could not see crap. Waking up the next day, this is what I found.
90% of the cars here have no colour. but this one sure did.
wat? lol.
And to be perfectly honest this is not what I was expecting. We are between Dallas and Fort Worth, and it is a really nice area. It is where everyone moves to when they want nice weather I guess, not quite really Texas. Anthony said I should probably check out Fort Worth, and then the Barber here (yeah, I got a hair cut!) gave me some tips of what to check out there.
Today I went to Fort Worth to buy a, lol, cowboy hat. I have not made it downtown of the actual city centre yet, but the north side of Fort Worth is a lot more like how I was expecting Texas to be. The people there actually have the Texas accent.
I imagine the downtown is like any other downtown, so I skirted around the outside areas.
Coors is crap, but I will drink it ;)

I have actually seen that pink bug or one like it. You are down here in my area. Some do have accents but some don't. I live in the suburbs north of the metroplex. You need to go into down town Dallas and Fort Worth looks like you are on the old town side of Fort Worth. Actually around here the cars have plenty of color. LOL Yeah, we have seen some very interesting Lic. plates. Jenn |

Ft. Worth is more 'cowtown' whereas Dallas is more cosmopolitan. But they both have the Texas swagger!! Enjoy! |
