"CRYING SHAME !"
Hello, Bloggers!
Brit Andy Murray lost his Wimbledon Final battle with Roger Federer yesterday, yet endeared himself to his audience by breaking down and crying in the interview on court right after the match.
I say that he endeared himself because so many athletes, including him, appear these days to have neither personality or Soul due, I guess, to their one-dimensional focus on both their goals and themselves.
Murray had played really well, and given everything, so by the time he was interviewed just minutes after the match, his defences were low, and he burst into tears.
He was under tremendous pressure to become the first British man to win Wimbledon for 76 years, so it was no cakewalk, and he was also up against one of the best athletes of all time in Roger Federer, who has now won Wimbledon seven times, a record.
Federer is a Humanist and looked as though he may have begun to cry himself after Murray's lapse, but it appears that both men came out smelling of roses, and the winner was the event itself...........

It's pretty much impossible to communicate with a man who's crying. He needs hugs or possibly a beer or quite possibly both |
Well put. One does wonder these days however, just how honest or dishonest sport actually is. Better that I say no more. |
...sport is awash with drug-taking and the occasional scandal, so ultimately it is no longer Sport on a literal level, unfortunately...... |
