About Me

I wrote my old biography around October of 2005 and man, have times a changed since then.  I was unemployed from October 2005 to January 2006, then I started working for the Florida Department of Health.  If there's anything close to a surefire way for understanding why this country is in such a mess, its working for any branch of government. (City, County, State or Federal)  Like most of our country, Obamanomics make my bung bleed. (life is a constant struggle when you're a "have-not".)  I'm an American and damn proud of it, I'm proud of my country, just not very proud of the goobers we have running the "Big Show".  Our founding fathers wanted us to be represented by ordinary people, people who understand and care about the average citizen.  I also think they were smart enough to realize that the term "Professional Politician" would one day become synonymous with the term "Career Criminal".  My blog is not purely political, but rather a hodgepodge of topics.  Sometimes I rant and rave about life in general, but I have my softer, more nostalgic moments too.  Did I mention that I recenty turned the big 5-0?  I've blogged on lots of sites, but something always draws me back to Blogster.  As it turns out, its the wonderful people I've met and am still meeting that keeps calling me back.  I don't always agree with what others may write, just as they may not agree with me all the time, but one thing sets this site apart from the others for me and that's the fact that, for the most part, people are a bit more civil here.
