We need all users to report suspicious people and inappropriate content they encounter on Blogster. And we strongly encourage users under the age of 18 to talk to their parents or a responsible adult immediately if someone online says or does something to make them feel uncomfortable or threatened in any way.

Always follow these important safety tips when using Blogster: (i) Do not share your password with anyone (ii) Report users and content that violate our Terms of Use (iii) Block users that sends you unwanted comments.

Children must know that they should report any inappropriate or offensive Blogster content to their parents and to Blogster using “Report Abuse” available through the site.

In order to help protect kids while blogging, some safety guidelines should be observed. It might be important for parents to try and screen what their kids plan to post before they have it published online on their blogs. Kids should never post provocative pictures of themselves or anyone else. Also, a simple photo of a house or a town landmark can easily reveal or give away the kid's location to potential predators online.

Try to remind your kids to be careful with what they try to post online. Try to make them realize that not all people online may be there for all the good reasons. Make them check what they write first and let them judge for themselves if they can be comfortable enough to share that content with strangers. If something is overlooked, the parents should be there to help keep everything in stock.
