Whew, what a day today was..I started off my morning with a shift at my first job (Cracker Barrel) and finished if off with a evening/night shift at my 2nd job (Tony Roma's). Although i'm very happy today is over and my "double shift" is done, I can only celebrate for a little as I will be pulling doubles all week for a total of 11-14+ hour work days. I have to say, for an 18 year old..I've got a lot on my plate working that much & dealing with family issues. I wish i got tomorrow off for Father's day since i'm scared it might be our last one with my dad, but I was told earlier today that i am working tomorrow at Tony Roma's and it took every piece of strength i had not to cry on the food line..The thing that really bothered me was that my General Manager who told me I was working actually knows my dad and his condition and told me "Hey Amy, tell your dad sorry but you'll be working tomorrow"..Thank you..That's exactly what he asked for. I'm still very pissed off over it stilland my dad didn't say anything but i could tell he was really sad when i told him because of the way he spoke. But theres nothing else i can do, so i guess ill just have to deal with it. Although I wont be spending all day with him I am very excited to see his face when we give him is new iPAD(: he deserves it and it'll give him something to do while he spends time at M.D. Anderson. I was also going to make him breakfast which i will now have to get up extra early for because after i'll have to go to work. Other than working my ass on all day everyday, theres not much to talk about because i dont have much time to do anything else. Until another day guys...<3
