Welcome To The Launch Of The Daily Lama

Hello there! We would like to extend a really warm welcome to you and thank you for coming to have a look at Ray and Nikki's blog, The Daily Lama. Just in case you are wondering who the two of us are, we are Amber Solaire and Mozzie Byte, the editors of The Daily Lama.
Ray and Nikki have invited us to help them as they travel throughout Asia and beyond. Our job is to keep you well informed and up to date about their travel adventures, and invite you to become involved in what they are experiencing. We will be compiling stories and researching information which we will bring periodically to you in this blog, and we would be delighted to receive your feedback about anything you read. If you create a blogster account, you can use the comments box at the end of each posting to send us your thoughts.
First, a little bit of background info about us; we are experienced blog editors who managed to persuade Ray and Nikki after an extensive consultation period that we are the right people to bring their news and stories to you. We are therefore counting on your feedback to prove to Ray and Nikki that they have made the right choice and to make sure we include stories that are of interest to you!
Here are our profiles - first, Amber:
Hi. I'm Amber and I have been a professional sun worshipper for 13 years. I trained at the 'Ray Of Light Academy ' in Benidorm, where I was selected to receive the prestigious 'Golden Sun Hat Award'. After this, I went on to further my studies in skin browning at the Institute of Melatonin, Sun City, Arizona. I hold the proud title of being the world's greatest individual consumer of after sun and moisturising products. I am very pleased to be part of The Daily Lama team.
Next, Mozzie:
Hello. I'm Mozzie. I trained in insect combat at the Arachnid School of Martial Arts in Spain, under the auspicious guidance of Master Juan Byte Toomenny. I graduated with a black belt in swat and squish and I am currently the world record holder for swatting and squishing 35 mosquitoes in one minute. This record breaking event took place in a restuarant in southern India in 2004. Like Amber, I am thrilled to be on board with The Daily Lama and am looking forward to bringing you all of the news as it happens.

Entertainment: All of the latest information about Ray and Nikki's night life and social scene overseas, brought to you by our gossip columnist, Ivor Hangover
Humour: Last but not least, we will bring you the best funny stories, jokes and anecdotes that Ray and Nikki discover on their travels, with the help of our resident "funny man", Mustapha Laff
So that's it from us until 2006, when we will bring regular updates of The Daily Lama to you. We caught up with Ray and Nikki recently in Koh Samui, and this is what they told us about the launch of the Daily Lama:
"We are absolutely delighted to have found two such high calibre people like Amber and Mozzie to produce our Blog" said Ray and Nikki. "They are really committed and are great people to work with. They really want to provide an interesting and informative journal for our readers. No doubt due to their reputations, they have assembled the best team of writers and photographers that we could have wished for and we are looking forward to seeing them all in action. We really could not be happier as we approach our launch".
