This is interesting:

Newt Gingrich vs. Mitt Romney; Comparing Conservative ‘Products of Work’

Observations (by the author)

It is interesting how Romney is mostly lauded for conservative positions he never implemented, or was able to pass, when he was a governing leader and Gingrich is chastised for supposed liberal positions for which there is no voting record evidencing it.  When it comes down to what they accomplished when in power to govern – Gingrich acted more like a Conservative President, and Romney more like a Compromising Legislator.

Similarly, why there is no evidence that Gingrich ever voted against something he campaigned on, Romney broke numerous pledges to both liberals and conservatives in his state.

So I leave it up to you to conclude who is more likely to do what they say.

{#apploud.gif} {#apploud.gif} {#apploud.gif} {#apploud.gif} {#apploud.gif}   Did Gingrich ever vote for a Democrat, then lie about it?  Did Gingrich ever say that if a parent will not give permission for an underage girl to get an abortion then a judge would do it against their wishes?

Arkmama,

Jeeze, out of Romney's own mouth.

If he'd sell out parents and their child, then he'd sell out anybody.

We know he votes to abort babies.

Instead of aborting babies we could breed our own and keep them.

What a concept!!!!

PS. That's my granddaughter at 7 months....glad she wasn't aborted.

(We wouldn't need to hand out American jobs to illegals either.)

Oh my gosh!  What a little doll!  I know she is your pride and joy and you are raising her right.  I'm glad she wasn't aborted too!  One of the best, nicest citizens in our town is the product of rape.  His mother was beaten, stabbed and left for dead in her own home.  She was a young widow.  She survived with some permanent paralyisis and she kept him and raised him.  She and he have spoken at Right to Life events in our state.  I am glad she didn't abort him either.

She is a Heintz 57, German, Norwegian, Swede, Scotch, Irish, Polish, French, English, Black, and Hispanic.

The Father is a total loser-convicted felon who beat my daughter, he's a user and a loser. He just got out of prison for the umpteenth time and we refiled the restraining order.....

Granddaughter is seven now, and my

(Oops...it posted before I finished.)

....job is to protect her from her father and help raise her. We have not withheld the basic facts about him from her either.

Our country must be preserved and freed from the grip of criminal politicians for her generation and after.

With that heritage, no wonder she is so smart!  Could you even imagine a world without her in it?  Obama does not want his daughters punished with a baby.  I'm glad you and your daughter didn't see it as a punishment.  I am so mad at the Komen foundation for caving in to Planned Parenthood.   What a great organization, save a woman, kill a baby!

Planned Parenthood does a nefarious job whitewashing their practice of "baby-murder". If you look at the history in America supporting abortion it was pushed by Progressivess to solve the "Negro problem". Margaret Sanger and others spear-headed the movement and yes, there is no question it was rooted in racism. In fact, Nazi Germany adopted ideas from the US in that period in time.

Komen screwed up.

You are right and I just shake my head sometimes at the people who are willing to have history white-washed for them.  Then there was NOW who preached that women did not need to be responsible for their actions, after all it was their body.  Whatever happened to those old biddies?  Senile or burned out on LSD?  From the looks of the more prominent ones, I never thought an unwanted pregnancy would ever even be an issue with them anyway!

Komen should never have become involved with PP in the first place.  Why do women need PP as a middleman for mammograms?  Most states have programs for women without insurance and unable to afford a mammogram.

I still do not understand why the abrupt turnaround.

Me either but they caved big time.

What a little cutie-baby!  Shortly after hubby and I got married 24+ years ago, God dropped a little boy on our 'doorstep'....mixed race, Puerto Rican and Dominican.  He was with us from right after his first birthday til about 2-1/2.   He had been a crack baby.  His grandfather had legal custody of him, and lived out here in another house, the baby was mostly with us.  His mom was around some, but had a lot of drug problems and was off and gone a good bit of the time.  She finally pulled her life together and ended up doing okay for herself.  Willie was with us off and on throughout his childhood...all grown up and married now, and doing just fine.  Here's a pic of him at about 4 or so.

He's a beautiful boy. Thank God for your involvement.

Mitt and his "safety-net" for the poor really disgusts me.

It's people like you and your husband that do the real job of saving these kids.

Good lookin' young man, too.  His wife is Puerto Rican, and she is just beautiful.

When his grandpa took him back to NY when he was about 2-1/2, we were heartbroken.  For the longest time after that, white babies looked really, really strange to me...lol!  He did come back and spend time with us throughout his childhood, even attended school here for one semester in 4th grade.

Helping kids like this warms our hearts and they are a great source of pride! Glad you got to keep in touch.
