Biggest nightmare I've ever heard of.

The weird part is...not much outcry from the libs and yet they'd be in Sharia Law's crosshairs.

It's a brutal murder and nothing else. No one will ever convince me that Sharia Law is anything but.

Gays would be the first to go. ekyprogressive's lifestyle makes him a marked man by Muslims. Greatmartin, and every other gay would be brutally murdered. Stoned, kicked and beaten to death if Sharia law is ever allowed to take root here.

I made a fairly long comment last night (AR's blog) to eky on just that exact issue.  He has not yet responded to it--but it was quite late when I posted it.  Don't know if he'll get back to me on it or not.

He's rooted in stupidity on this issue. Rigid.

He doesn't get that this so-called "religion" is a set of religion/sharia-based laws that run their countries. The implementation of these laws depends on the local Imam's particular version of these laws or the state's interpretation.

Sharia law is subject to the interpretation of some real assh*les.

Our laws are not implemented or enforced by churches. But many laws were constructed using the best morals taught by people who had religion.

Furthermore, they weren't perfect, but I believe it's still the best system in the world.

But regardless of how it's interpreted...whether moderate, or radical...none of it is good.  Even with more moderate muslims, it's still abusive to women, keeps them subjegated...and absolutely draconian in many of its laws.

You get it, I get it.

Why don't liberals get it?

I don't know.  That's the best answer I can come up with.  

I keep hoping the liberals will finally learn enough by paying attention to what is happening in other countries around the world that they finally wake up.

Apparently they don't consider history at all. A Muslim's government is run by their religion.

They think government controlled by religious fanatics is OK. Yet they scourge Christians. Sure there are isolated incidences of Christians doing bad things here. But I figure they are mentally ill. Crazy.

Are all of those hateful Muslim clerics who condone murdering and abusing whole countries full of women and girls simply mentally ill?

Or is there something fundamentally wrong with that system?

Yet libs defend their "rights" in OUR COUNTRY.

Actually, I don't necessarily believe that the libs are mentally ill, but I do believe they are not mentally  'right in the head.' It's not that they aren't smart--many of them are highly educated, with numerous degrees behind their names.  But 'book learning' intellectualism, without any kind of common sense or critical thinking skills is useless.  I could buy a good set of encyclopedias and get more real life sense of of them...

You can spout 'history' all you want.  Show them video after video of people being stoned, beaten and horribly abused. Videos of their imams spewing their hate rhetoric.   It doesn't register in their tiny little pea-brains.  They can't connect the dots to understand the big picture.  They are too consumed by what they have been taught in all their colleges and universities--namely 'political correctness.'   That is what they know and understand.  Unfortunately, for whatever reason, academia is full of these kinds of people. 

This has also been happening in our public school system for many decades.  The teachers were taught liberal ideals, they pass it on to the students, and so on, and so on, and so on...and the cycle continues.  Most of our children today are totally indoctinated with progressive ideology.  That is how the process works.   If most of the base is on the conservative side, you'll not change very many of them.  But if you start teaching it to their children, in very small, incremental steps, it becomes part of their thinking. Rewriting history...putting less and less emphasis on patriotism...teaching them the PC ideals.... Then the next generation, they are introducing a little bit more...and it continues....and gradually escalates over the years.  It's not enough that most people would notice.  It comes in tiny little baby steps.

Do you remember Nikita Khrushev????  He said they would bury us--without a shot being fired.   And it is happening--right now, right here in the good ol' USofA!  They've almost got their mission accomplished.  A few more years and it is done.  People are waking up to what is happening.  Have enough members of the sleeping giant awakened to start turning things around before it's too late?  I sincerely hope so.  But we won't know until November.  If we don't get it done then, it may be too late.  By 2012, the damage will probably be irreversable......

I do think enough people have come to their senses to turn this progressive mess around.

I wasn't speaking of the Libs being mentally ill, (though sometimes I wonder) it was the Muslims. Yet the Libs, OUR Libs, defend their "rights". Gag!

Never mind all of the Human rights violations, mostly of women.

Never mind that it is a huge insult to a lot of Americans who have lost family and friends and fellow Americans to Muslim enemies.
