The weather forecasters lied again. Our milder weather went away with plunging temperatures last night. Today's warming trend is apparently delayed by the -13 weather outside. I find it humorous to find one online forecast saying it should be 1 degree by 10:00 am when it is still minus 13 outside.

Still, could be worse. We often have -20 to -30 this time of year and they are getting that in other parts of Canada so I will shut up and not complain. I have, however, switched to long sleeve T-shrts underneath heavy long sleeve shirts.

Walking outdoors has been cancelled for the day. I am off to walk indoors in the upper walking deck of the hockey arena where it will seem much warmer.

Weather forecaster.......Best job in the world

Yeah; Got a really low bar to meet!

That sounds very cold where you are.  l think you are wise staying indoors today.  Sometimes l wonder do the weather forecasters ever get it right lol ? ?

It is cold here,  daughter found out that she will not drive far or turn off heater in her new Tesla SUV that looks like a Back to the future with  DeLorean doors. Electric and expensive, lets  let more cold Minnesota weather in while you figure out which button shuts the doors

Gotta ask Ken, when you mention temperature, do you use C or F?

(And get a hoodie.) ( At a store.) (By paying $ for it.)  ;))

I have lots of warm clothes. LOL. I use C here. So not as cold as you might otherwise think but when it gets to minus 40 it is the same,

It seems anyone can get a job in the weather department. It doesn't take much to be wrong. lol!

Exactly. Can't get fired for being wrong.

I assume every Canadian city has a hockey arena....LOL

LOL Prolly but ours is brand new (they tore down the old one) and Multi purpose. The top deck was designed as a walking track.

The thing about weathermen/women......they never know what the weather is really going to be like, they no sooner report the weather, and it ends up being something entirely different, making the weathermen/women untruthful.

Well I'm staying in-doors today, as it's stinking hot in the sun again, mind you it's nice sitting here with the cool A/C blowing on me...lol

I think the best job location for a weatherman is in Phoenix - pretty much the same all of the time except variations of hot hotter and hottest.

LOL. Maybe I should apply for the job.

I know right...I never watch the weather I just look outside and determine what will happen.  That seems to work fine for me.     {#basic-mouth-shut.gif}

You had me at Hockey Arena LOL {#dancing6.gif} Man I miss going to hockey games. O' I don't even want to think about colder temps coming. Sure hope you all don't get hit hard this winter.

Why My Liberal Neighbors Aren’t Speaking To Me Anymore.

I recently asked my neighbors’ little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up.

She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, are liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, ‘If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?’ She replied, ‘I’d give food and houses to all the homeless people.’ Her parents beamed with pride. ’Wow…what a worthy goal.

’ I told her, ‘But you don’t have to wait until you’re President to do that! You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I’ll pay you $50. Then I’ll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.‘

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, ’ Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50? ‘

I said, ‘Welcome to Conservatism.’

I like it.
