Me: I got rid of cable because that shit was up to $200 a month.

Friend: Right? That money could go where God intended ... drugs!

Well, that's one place it could go, but not what I would pick personally  {#rofl.gif}{#rofl.gif}{#rofl.gif}

Buy ALL THE DRUGS!

Yrah, right not...then whatever I needed I would have...and what I didn't want or need I could resell.  hmmm...

HIGH, ON THE MOUNTAINTOP: A Reading From Chapter 4, Verse 20 - Beehive ...

Scott

We stopped getting cable ages ago because WE couldn't afford it anymore. Plus we only seemed to be paying for duplicate channels all showing the same thing. These modern, flat-screen TVs have a lot of FREE stuff to watch so why not watch that instead?

Exactly! Cable is ridiculous. It's cheaper for me to just stream everything.

I seriously only watched the news on television anyway and it was the local news and David Muir. I can still get the local news with this satellite thing I stuck in my window. And I watch David Muir on Hulu the next day. There's really nothing on cable I watch that I can't stream the next day. All my shows I watch are on Hulu, Peacock, or Paramount+, all of which I have.

We haven't had cable for years.  Don't miss it one bit.

I don't know why I kept it for so long. There's nothing on there that I watch. Like I told Amala: the shows I do watch can be streamed on Hulu or Paramount+ the next day. I just got into this show "Resident Alien" on Peacock yesterday. So friggin funny.
