Question of the Week

The Question of the Week is this: What would you do with an elephant. You may assume that you have the necessary resources to carry out your plans, whatever they may be. As I was reading through the list of questions of the week, I never saw this question until now. When I did finally read it, it was such a different question from all the others, so I had to pick it. Elephants have always been one of my favorite animals. I remember as a young child always wanting stuffed toy elephants. I'm not sure where my love of elephants came from, but it may have something to do with me loving the movie "Babar."

If I had an elephant, I would give it a paint brush, paint, and a canvas, and it could paint me a picture. Elephants can easily be trained to paint, and for some reason, people like their art. Personally, I don't see what's so great about blobs of paint being thrown at a blank canvas. That's not art in my opinion. However, when elephants actually paint something, such as flowers for example, I really enjoy seeing them paint. I could even sell the painting for some outrageous price, and maybe someone would buy it.

Another thing I would do with an elephant would be to have it clear up any traffic jams I get into. An elephant would be very helpful in pushing all of the other cars out of the way, so I could drive along without having to worry about being late for anything. And because the question says that I can assume that I have all the necessary resources to carry out my plans, I could just pay back anyone who sues me for destroying their car.
